We cant miss at all in the draft. I know i know... thats obvious, but when you are this bad, you literally need a Perfect offseason. Through FA we have added depth, and maybe a 2-3 players we can put at starting positions. Thats all well and good, but we were 1-15. We need instant impact players immediately. I sure hope Parcells doesn't miss big time. I hope we dont try to trade down too far, I hope we dont draft a high priced qb at the number 1 spot. Give me a good draft, and we're back on our feet. We got off to a fast offseason, and were at a lull right now, But this draft needs to get us back on track. now lets get it done.

We need secondary help,BAD.We havent addressed that at all this offseason, which surprised me so far.And we need a num 1 WR.

Yep, pretty much on the same wavelength as you. I was comin to this thread thinking that it'd be about how many wins this team should get. I was gonna reply that it really doesn't matter how well we do in the season, I just want them to build a base to improve on during the offseason (and now I just realized I misread the title so whatever, hehe). The first day picks at least need to be on point and should be able to start sometime during this season. Not like they'd have much standing in front of them if they draft right.

We HAVE addressed the secondary in the offseason. We resigned Bell and Lehan.

we know that both Bell and Hill are good safeties - they are coming off injuries tho. We also have Jason Allen, who COULD develop. It's obvious we need a staring corner, opposite Will Allen. However, we might actually be OK in the secondary.

Ideally we find another safety (Eugene Wilson) - which gives us three pretty good ones with injury history and Allen. Which actually should still be ok.

It would have been nice to get Drayton Florence. However, it might be possible we would add DeAngelo Hall (look at my other post - dissecting Jason Taylor - it's very likely the Falcons will HAVE to trade with us)

If we had Allen, Hall at corner, Bell and Wilson or Hill or Allen at safety - I don't think ANYBODY would be complaining would they?

be patient - that's only one transaction from having an awfully good secondary.

keep in mind - there isn't anybody now that can start for us that is young and warrants a contract worth anything. So the longer the veterans wait the more their price goes down. If we still haven't filled the spot after the draft I'm sure there is somebody out there like a Ty Law that we could sign.

Also, last time I looked Tedd Ginn and Ernest Wilford looked like a pretty damn good set of starting receivers!!! they complement each other well. Wilford is a PERFECT red zone threat and GREAT run blocker!!! which is so overlooked. Ginn is going to be special. We have our starters. We need a slot guy.

Our most pressing needs are LT (or RT if Carey isnt moved - Fabini could play RT tho) CB, OLB, TE, LG - we have nobody to play those positions (OLB we do, but its most important position on defense and the hardest to find and Porter and Taylor are old - have to address it at the top of the draft ie first round draft choice) then we need S, NT,WR, DE, MLB.......all in that order....then of course RB cause of injury concerns and QB cause nobody proven.....****.....look at that!!!!! we need a whole damn team don't we?????
