Say what you want about how the team performed and who needs to get fired and cut, this isn’t about that…This is about how bad our in-person fan base is.

I took may family to the game yesterday, and If I didn’t know better, I would have sworn I was in Green Bay. Packers fans were easily louder than the Miami “fans” and it wasn’t even close. It was confusing and embarrassing.

Every time Miami had the ball, packers fans were on their feet screaming and chanting at the top of their lungs. Meanwhile, when the Packers had the ball, (my whole family was on their feet yelling so much my daughter lost her voice) I would turn around and look behind me and see the vast majority of Fins “fans” literally doing nothing. Sitting there silently like it was tennis match or a golf tournament. The jumbo-trons are telling people to “get loud” and they can’t even bother to stand up and cheer.

And the god damned club section was half empty. Basically the best seats on the house and nobody’s sitting in them. Yet on the other side of the field, the visitor side, every seat is taken by cage-rattling cheese heads. SMH, it’s ponderous…

However bad you think the Dolphins are, our fans are every bit as pathetic, perhaps worse. Maybe we deserve each other.

Yeah I don't live in Florida but it seems all their sports teams have this issue. I've only been to Buffalo games and man are they loud. That's one thing Miami will never have going for them. The perfect example of pathetic Miami fans is when the Miami Heat came back in the NBA finals game 6 against the Spurs and so many idiots had already left the arena. I'm sure there are great fans like you but overall it will never be a high percentage in that state.

Because this team hasn't been a real team since New England eliminated them in January 1986. The fans have better things to do than to show up just to be disappointed year after year. Guy.....that was 36 seasons ago. Nothing to show for themselves since. That's why people don't bother showing up. If I told you back in August that this NFL season would take place and in December there would be one team who looks kind of-sort of like a contender but when December arrived, they wouldn't win one game that month, could you have guessed who that team would be? I SURE AS HELL COULD! Seen it too many times so the familiarity would pretty much tip me off to it.

This organization wants support? Give us something to feel positive about and do it consistently. By the way, don't show up there for the college games on Saturdays either or you might have a heart attack. Want to know why it happens then too? Re-read my first paragraph but substitute 2003 for January 1986 and it still applies. Don't listen to the excuse makers who say the stadium is too far away from campus. Lord, what a crock of crap! Good teams have their fans travel to Dublin and Tokyo to watch their team's games so I think Miami Gardens is quite doable. Jeez!

Hope this clears things up.

It was on Xmas day. No less, it was in the middle of Xmas day. Keep it in perspective.

1. There are a number of perennially bad teams who’s fans show up no matter what their record.

2. What about the fans that do actually show up? What’s their excuse? Why aren’t they cheering? We were in that game until the last two-minutes and the fans who cared enough to show up couldn’t be bothered to make noise when the game is on the line? Pathetic.

I would say you are off on your timeline just a little bit. I mean they did host the AFC Championship Game against the Bills in January 1993. They had some good teams in the early 90’s. But I get what you mean.

I used to be a season ticket holder, I stopped because the product on the field has been below average & the ppl running it even worse. My generation grew up watching shula & Marino. It’s been around 26 yrs since shula. All I’ve seen since is a bottom dweller team. Miami forced one of the greatest coaches of all time to retire( shula). Shula deserved to coached as long as he wanted to. This is why the shula curse exist, since we force him out we’ve been a laughing stock, bottom dweller organization. I’ve been watching this **** show since Marino retired. Yea no , I could care less about going to a game and spending my hard earned money on this team. I’d rather use that money on
Meat & beer & barbecue at home and watch the **** show on my 75 inch tv.

Maybe people don't want to spend hundreds of dollars to go to a game and watch a garbage product?

Same here. I had season tickets for several years. I decided to stop wasting my money
