hey guys just a thought
do u think that if billy p was running the show before we delt cc that he would have kept him, or traded him for different value. i think if we kept him until now i think we could have gotten better value for him or trade him in a package deal to dallas, looking to get younger at wr with jt for a first adn more players, knowing billy p's dallas connection, which we have seen several times this offseason. any thoughts on this?

Chambers would have maybe been worth a 4th now, that's the only think Randy Muller ever did good for us. And taking Ginn, Beck, Lo Book

Which is why I wanted him to stay. When he had full control he delivered.

RM made mistakes, they all do, but he knew what he was doing. I would have been very happy to have him stay, but once they went with Parcells it was pretty obvious BP would want his own guy.

As soon as a team blows their 2008 draft, RM's phone will ring.

We would not have gotten better value for him. A 2nd round pick is great value for a player around his age. Although I wish we didnt trade Chambers because then we would have a sure fire #1 (thats right) reciever. Ted Ginn is going to have to be our #1 this year and I am ok with that but it would have been ideal if he could have been #2 and wouldnt get all the double teams. He will now be the focus when teams gameplan against our passing game. I mean could you imagine Chambers Ginn and Wilford. Chambers will be a pro bowl player for the chargers and you know why? Because he has a consistent QB, someone who can actually throw the ball to him. Unfortunatley I hate to say this but Jay Fiedler was the best QB to throw Chambers a pass.

Chambers was vastly overpaid. To get the value we did for him with his lack of production, his high salary, and dropped balls, was genius.

Over the last season and a half with Miami he caught less than 40% of the passes thrown his way (someone put up this glaring stat last season). All the other receivers on our roster had much higher percentages. Chambers was very overrated. I was thrilled to get a 2nd for him.

Couldn't agree more.
