In what world is Mallet a better backup than Moore?

Looks like they are picking and choosing stats to support their opinion. As soon as you see Bortles and Bridgewater that high you should know the article is not very well thought out.

Not a big deal. It's backups they're discussing.

If New England offered Mallet for Moore would you at least listen to the offer?

Mallett still has potential, Moore is what he is. That's why there are so many rookies and young backups behind proven QBs on that list. I'd take Mallett over Moore right now in a heartbeat. Vick is the questionable one on that list because one key for a backup, IMO, is durability and that dude is made of glass. Also a total piece of ****.

That being said, who cares? They're backups. Not worth getting angry about.

We have no clue what MAllet can do because he has never had to play in a real game. In what world should Moore make mor money than TAnnehill .

Yup, we really don't know what Mallett can do. That said, the fact that the Patriots have desperately been trying to move him after drafting Garoppolo tells me that maybe he ain't doing too hot.

they have been trying to trade Mallet for the last couple years before the draft, with no takers I don't think anyone rates him too high. Last week was another attempt to showcase his talents for a trade, oops...

In the world that doesn't involve wasting 5.5 million this year on Matt Moore!

Reading the Pats forums occasionally, Mallett has never been setting their world on fire. I thought he had a lot of potential coming out of Arkansas and might be the same kind of prize that Marino was based on rumors so was all for drafting him in the 2nd. The fact is he's unproven and right now Moore is a better QB.. but that's not to say Mallett doesn't have more potential as a cheaper backup who could pull a Scottt Mitchell in an emergency.

The grass is always greener, right? I'd stick with Moore, no question. Of the great many promising QBs of the future, very few ever make it to even capable QB level. We already have one of those and it's exactly what we need, why spin the roulette?

in all fairness its not like any team has offered us anything for Moore if that's the barometer
