Inaccurate Tannehill with 14 straight completions

The guy had ALL DAY...

Couple of take-aways...The Pats also didn't pressure the QB much, and Pats did allow pressure from the Raiders. The Pats line on both sides of the ball really aren't very good this year. This is going to be real problem for them this year.

Did I tell you the Pats aren't very good?...

Lol Gotta respect the personal "I told you so" bump.

I don't think that the deep game has been abandoned, but Lazer knows that isn't the strength of this offense. I believe after a week of killing the confidence of the young QB, Lazer decided to institute a confidence boosting offense playing to Tannehill's strengths and was rewarded with a win.

This team needs an identity on offense and today may have finally established one. I am sure deep play's will come, but I can live with 18 yard chunks in the passing game with solid running as a primary attack. Also, the biggest change in the offense today was not trying to force it to Wallace every down. Spreading the ball around is better for everyone, and everyone today made the most of it. Forcing the ball to Wallace has been the kiss of death more often than not, but he was used well today.

I must give kudos to Wallace for playing so much tougher this year. I have been a detractor in the past, and while I still wish he had better hands, his toughness and effort have been so much better this year he has become a bright spot on the team.

Great post

now lets see if he can do it for more than just one game.

against a better team.

a win is a win, i will take it, but, lets see him have this sort of accuracy for long stretches and not just MAYBE 1 or two games a year.

a good team is SUPPOSED to trounce bad teams. we did that. however, when we face even decent teams and can only score 10-17 points and lose, you have to question

i dont think tannehill is consistent enough or has the nad to gun down teams when the clock is running out and its all on the line.

Drives right before halfs and to end games has been Ryans best statistical drives. Also the team we played in London happened to be the 4th best passing defense in the league. But I agree with you that Ryan has to be more consistent. A lot of that is his accuracy and a lot is players dropping the ball, but I have a feeling things are about to really get straighten out. Things might be looking up. We should have the division lead by the time we take the field vs the packers.

i am just saying.....remember how brady looked last week vs these raiders?
Much better footwork and pocket awareness last game - granted he had better protection as well. RT and the Offense clearly have potential - need to see it perform against tougher competition.
