^i thought he could, thats the point hes inactive, but dresses as the 3rd string QB and if he enters the game the other QBs cant go back in...

i say evans dresses though, and someone like keith adams will be inactive

Yes he can as long as he does not come into the game before the 4th quater. If he does the other two qb's can't play till the fourth quater.

No... If lemon comes in then the other 2 QB's cannot return to the game. That was the reason pennyarm went back in against the jags last year and then totally destroyed his arm... However if Lemon is considered "active" then all three are allowed to be switched at will.

Also there must be 8 guys inactive. most likely:

The 3rd stringer can come in due to injury, but the other 2 QBs may not return until the 4th quarter, even if they are able to play after a few plays off. I believe I read the rule that teams dress 45 plus the 3rd string "emergency QB", but they can only bring him in due to injury.

I would think Zgonina would be inactive before Fred Evans, just my opinion. Doesn't really matter, doubt either one would play.
