I don't even see this as character assassination. People are surprised that football players go to strip clubs? I've never been a strip club guy at all, but in this day and age, someone is actually going to be offended by this?

I have thought that the "Martin = gay" rumors were just idle speculation and probably untrue up until now, but now I can definitely see that as something that may be a factor in play here.
