Not so fast. Schefter just reported that at least 5 teams are interested in Incog. Martin was essentially a mercy **** by a team who could afford to carry him, by his old college coach in his old college metro area. I wouldn't bet the farm that when the smoke cleared, Incog wouldn't be starting before Martin.
As far as who's the psycho... Martin is the one who put the gun to his own head, threatened suicide and severely abused drugs. The problem was that he couldn't take the kind of clubhouse hazing that most incoming fraternity freshmen would welcome in comparison to what they're put through.
And regarding culpability, Martin's handlers released one incendiary racist text and a sister-threatening one out of context not thinking that Richie would sink his own ship by releasing all the texts which show that Martin was as much the perp and instigator. Doesn't killing your whole ****ing family trump raping your sister? Total whitewash where even out of hundreds of qualified special investigators that could be named, the league knowing full well what they were doing, appointed one with about 6 demographic commonalities with the Martin family. And still in good conscience he couldn't indict the franchise so he settled for a few skapegoats while more or less exonerating one of the guilty parties, Martin. To me it's telling that their teammates took Incog's side and turned their back on the quitter who essentially picked a prank that he actually perpetrated two weeks before, to storm off theatrically as planned. And if you don't think the whole thing was orchestrated then I have some property in the Everglades I can sell you cheap.
But if we're talking about "bullying" I see that Ndomikong Suh just flagrantly rolled up his 6th or 7th intentionally violent attack on a helpless player, our very own Chad Henne. Why is there no outcry after the viciousness he's consistently exhibited using the field of play as an excuse for his douchebaggery? And while all Pavlov's dogs went full tilt drool on that isolated Incog racist text, why doesn't anyone have the balls in the media to at least explore what might well be sanctioned racism considering that while the 6 or 7 Suh victims are Caucasian, the league is 70% not?
