Maybe an okay compromise. I worried about locker room issues if they released him outright. Maybe this is a decent compromise. We shall see.

You don't need grounds. NFL money isn't guaranteed. Players get released all the time.
The bigger question is why is he still on the team? Perhaps there's some technicality at play because he's the subject of an investigation.

I'm not anti-incognito but what is the point in dragging this on? Either punish him accordingly for the messages (ie: not suspend him for 5+ games) or cut him. Seems to me like management isn't sure how to handle this situation so they're being indecisive, they are in over their heads when it comes to managing a major operation.

Would also like to know if these guys are taking up roster spots?
