With the texts that state Martin was using just as much derogatory towards Richie as he was to Jonathan, Incognito's suspension must be lifted immediately and/or Martin must be suspended, with his last game check paid back along with whatever fines the team needs to assess due to his "leaving" the team.

Yup! but its not going to happen...

I have a good feeling Cog will be back for the Chargers. Philbin will sit him down, tell him that's what they had to do given the scrutiny, and I think Cog gets it. If Cog accepts it like an adult he gets a 1 year contract to stay next year signed in a few months after people start talking about something else.

Joe looks like a bum now and it will be apparent with his players.

Looks like they did no intel on their part and went along with Martin's story and what the media was saying. Soft and weak is Joe. His team will not care what he says and play like it...yet you cannot win football games like that.

Just trade him for whatever you can get. Try to find a team willing to give up a late round pick for him.

Then enjoy the fun!

It can happen!

What does that say to the players on your team or who are considering being on your team in free agency?

Stop riding Philbin so hard, he did what anyone would do in his situation.

What they did was typical HR procedure when there is a harassment complaint. Don't forget this is a big money corporation.

The only thing unusual about the way they did it was that he was suspended without pay during the investigation. However, given his history, the golf outing story (at a team event), and the transcript of the voicemail, their hands were tied. It all fits neatly into conduct detrimental.

Once the investigation concludes (as it relates to Richie), they will probably reinstate him or release him. It's what HR departments do all the time.

I disagree, but yeah, we got a 8 full games left to see who is right.

By the way, I have been easy on Joe, blaming others for the issue. My point NOW is that it seems Joe suspended Incognito based on legal and media pressure. That might be the right move politically, but not when you are trying to win games. Bad job there.

I have a pretty good feeling there were many people that had input on the incog suspension. It wasn't joe's sole decision.

Fair enough, but I am tired that when a management decision is made (trading Brandon Marshall, trading Vonte Davis, (ironically) not addressing the LT position, play calling etc.) it is never about Joe.

The suspension was a precautionary measure they had to take. Once all the facts are out Richie should be somewhat exonerated and will return to the team.

I agree, but because of the pr blitz this has created it won't happen...Jonathan Martin is officially my least favorite Dolphin ever, I prefer Daunte Culpepper even

Hey, I never said joe didn't agree with the suspension. I haven't been too impressed with joe all year, coaching wise. He will be under the microscope for Monday's game. I am looking for him to rise this team up out of the dumps but if he doesn't, I won't be shocked.
