Evans, a senior from Chicago, currently ranks second in the Southland Conference in tackles for loss at 6.5 total stops. He has five solo stops and three assists behind the line among his 15 total tackles. Last year Evans was named the Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year after registering 40 total tackles, including 6.5 quarterback sacks and 17.5 tackles for loss.
Nealy is already a two-time Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week and currently ranks ninth in the country, averaging 306.50 yards of total offense per game. Through four games, the Dallas native has rushed for 349 yards and five touchdowns while completing 62 of 93 passes for 877 yards and five scores. His 159.32 pass efficiency rating ranks 10th nationally in Division I-AA.

I've actually seen this kid in action..

I have a couple of friends who attend Texas State, so I goto games when I get a chance..

On the field, he's a stud. Visually the best big man on the field @ all times. But here's the thing, he's playing AA (ok, Taylor & McNair both did also), but the skill set is a HUGE difference..

I guess we'll see..regardless he was a stud @ Texas State.
 
The guy is too skinny for NT. He needs to put on 20-30 pounds, unless they are going to use him in the 4/3. Sunday's practice video shows him getting personal attention after not performing well in a drill. Still, lot's of potential there. Ofcourse, the same could be said of all the rookies.
 
Apparently, he has the frame to put on extra weight so he can be MASSIVE. Maybe that's Saban's plan. Get this guy ready for next year like Alabi and Manny Wright.
