Just because a players on our practice squad doesn't mean teams can't claim him, i heared that if a players on your ps any team at any time could claim him. Thats how samkon gado got with the pack. He was on kc's ps and during the season the pack needed a running back, looked through the other teams ps and picked up samkon. So vick could still be gotten by other teams.
Im not 100% on this rule but i believe its true.
 
Yep!

Only problem:

No one's looking to take Vick off of our hands!

(also, when you claim a P.S. player, he has to go on your active roster, not your P.S., making it almost certain Vick isn't going anywhere this year)
 
It's true anyone can sign any practise player to their team. But their is a huge exception to this rule. They must be signed to the ACTIVE Roster, they can't be signed to the practise squad. And they can only spend three years on it and no more, plus veterans are not eligible for it.
 
If another team took Vick, this board would lose half of its posters.
 
They can't just take him. They can offer him a regular roster spot. Assuming he's happy most players will give the team whose PS they're on the opportunity to move them up to the regular roster. It's almost like having a right of first refusal. Though, we did lose a player like that once. I think it was to Detroit. I'm blanking on the name but it was a rb who left without even telling anyone.
 
Yes but any team that takes a player off another teams practice squad has to put that player on there 53 man roster they can't take them and put them on their practice squad. Nobody is going to take Vick so don't worry. He has talent but is extremely raw and needs developement and that's why he didn't make are team. I am glad that nobody claimed anyone that we were able to get on are practice squad.

Well, considering that every team in the league could have claimed Vick on waivers in the last 24 hours, and none did, I'm not really worried about teams trying to sign him off our practice squad.
