I just caught the end of Gase's press conference.

I think they said Larsen might not be able to go?

(and then I heard the name Wesley Johnson mentioned).

Anyone else watch it? And wouldn't we (hopefully) try Brendel in there if Larsen can't go?

I’d rather see brendel get a shot, yeah

Or put Brendel at center and give Swanson a shot if he can play guard.

I know that's messing with extra positions, but Brendel might be our best healthy center (although Swanson has played his ass off), and I have absolutely no idea who the best LG on the team is (even when Larsen is healthy).

I think I’d move Swanson to guard and insert brendel on the pivot.

But they may not want to upset the pivot ask here and leave that status quo.

My thinking exactly. If they see Brendel and Swanson as even (I hope that isn't the case), leave Swanson and try anyone and everyone at LG.

If they see Brendel as a clear upgrade to Swanson at C (which I hope is the case), then my decision would be put Brendel at C and try anyone and everyone at LG.

Swanson has the better frame for guard think he’s 320 brendel and Johnson to me are more pivot onlys

I did like the way Brendal played last year and as I recall he did a hell of a job at lead blocking during Drakes 5 game runs toward the end. The QB C exchange is to important to just throw Brendal in after an extended absence. I’m all down for Brendal at G. Just a crazy season on the OL, backups are getting hurt, for goodness sake!

It is questionable if we are able to protect Brock Lobster or open any running lanes should we be missing any of our OL.

It is doubtful we will be able to win this game absent a few miracles.

Brendel played a grand total of 26 snaps in that 5 game stretch
3 games he didn't even have a snap

The game versus Denver when Drake had 120 yards rushing
Brendel played 11 offensive snaps

Against the Pats when Drake ran for 114 yards
Brendel played 0 offensive snaps

Against Buffalo he had 0 offensive snaps

Against KC he had 0 offensive snaps

Against the Bills he had 15 snaps

The other 11 games before Drake's run
Brendel had 8 games with 0 snaps
2 games with 1 snap and 1 game with 39 snaps

Think Gase is putting everyone on the report, even if they got a paper cut,
