Injuries

The Dolphins held Chambers out of practice Wednesday because of a right hamstring problem.

“I feel all right,†Chambers said. “I wanted to go, but I was backed off.â€Â

The same players who missed Tuesday’s practice with excused absences  end Daryl Gardener, safety Brock Marion, cornerback Patrick Surtain, punter Mark Royals, rookie receiver Sam Simmons  missed practice.

Dolphins left guard Mark Dixon participated in his first offseason practice as he continues rehabilitation for a leg injury suffered last season.

FIRST FOR DIXON

Offensive guard Mark Dixon has worked all offseason to recover from a broken right fibula he sustained in November. Wednesday morning, Dixon participated in his first individual workouts since the injury.

Dixon was unhappy with his performance and asked trainer Kevin O'Neill if he could participate in a few team drills.

Chester broke his leg last year and it looks like its either not healed or they are being carefull so he is healthy come the season (i hope)

I fail to see how two players who were already injured, and 2 players missing practice because of peronal reasons (a wedding), amounts to "injuries mounting up"
