So far the injury bug has not been kind to the Fins as it was last year. So far this year the Fins have lost around 6 starters that played a MAJOR part of the sucess of the 2008 season.

When you lose that many key people the bottom can fall out quickly for a season, however the Fins find themselves right in the thick of the playoff hunt instead of bottoming out like the Jets and Buffalo are doing now. This all points to the job that the FO has done in stock piling talent for that just in case injury that you know will happen sooner or later. It also shows this team is much better this year than last year and that the 3 year plan is right on schedule.

Understand I'm not blowing the Parcells horn here just stating the facts as they appear to me and every other fan that keep up with the Dolphins from minute to minute. IMOP I see a VERY bright future for this team and it would not surprise me that this year we squeak into the playoffs and really contend in 2010.

THE 3 YEARS PLAN IS WORKING!!!!!!:woot::woot::woot:

I think many of our injuries are due to our schedule this year compared to last year. We have played much tougher games and these guys have had to gut it out more.

Yeah, after watching all these injuries...this tells me that the Trifecta "BETTER" re-sign PEnnington. Should Henne get injured, I'd rather have a veteran like PEnnington QBing instead of a Tyler Thigpen or Pat White.

Pat White will probably be pretty good next season but I'd rather have him for the option QB, not the fulltime starter with a Thigpen behind em.

I'd feel better with Henne starting and PEnnington as the #2.

We have every opportunity to sneak into the playoffs this year, but the inconsistencies are too consistent. The injuries have really taken a tole and make the future much more hazy. Two weeks ago, I thought we had the inevitable ability to win out, but now all these teams I thought were easy wins aren't. Here's to hoping we can capitalize on this depth talent and start playing like a powerhouse in year 3! Third time's the charm for the Trifecta!
