I’m so hopeful we can get Pitts , as a fan of Fifty years I do remember some painful losses to injuries , this was a super star TE in the makings and after we signed him in a big free agent deal from the Jets , in Pre Season a cheap shot to the knee by a Houston Texan ended his career . anyone else remember the excitement when he was signed ? I feel that way about Pitts .

I think there's a chance that all of the wrs and Pitts are there at 6. I would love Pitts. I think he will be a pro bowl te.

Still hate DJ Swearinger. Cheap shot artist, he basically ended Wes Welker’s career that season too.

If the Falcons don’t trade out of the 4th position, I expect them to draft Pitts. Their biggest needs are on defense but I doubt they have any defensive player on their board rated higher than Pitts.

I had forgotten about that. We had signed him, high hopes before that w Eric Green, later w Jordan Cameron. The only one we got as a FA that was a complete stud here was Keith Jackson (until he tried to lateral the ball for no good reason in the ‘94 SD playoff game).
