News
Falcons defensive end Brady Smith did not practice on Thursday due to a dislocated toe, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Views
We'll keep an eye on Smith's status over the weekend, but we'll be surprised if he plays on Sunday given the nature of his injury.

Don't know if he is a real big threat, but he is a starter, i will take any edge we can get

Brady is a very good, underrated player. Unfortunately for Miami, Falcons have an outstanding 6 or 7 man rotation.

So Brady Smith out, Michael Jenkins out...maybe TJ Duckett, maybe Allen Rossum.

Of course if we win, I'm sure Thanatos will be on here talking about how we won because of all the injuries.

Falcons can live without those players apart from maybe Allen Rossum. Last year I would've said definitely, but he's been playing poorly this year. I don't believe he'll miss Sunday, though. Brady Smith provides a nice lift, but like I said, we have a nice rotation that can cover. Roddy White needs the playing time and he can do as good of a job if not better than Jenkins. Duckett is money on the goal line, but Vick can cover that. (See the Jets game when we didn't have Duckett on the goal line) Griffith and Dunn are no slouches, though.

And the Falcons injury reports are accurate? Ask BB about that one...

You act like the Falcons are the only team that likes to keep a competitive advantage. Brady Smith and Jenkins are definitely out.

No, just the only team willing to do what they did with Mike Vick on the injury report during the week leading to the Patriots game. It was inexcusable, and clearly disregarded the spirit of the injury report system.

Dude Roddy White isn't half the receiver Mike Jenkins is right now.

How would you know that? How many times have you seen Roddy White thrown to or even in the game for that matter? He's probably been thrown to 10 times and at least 3 were down field bombs that were way over thrown. I don't see why you are getting so upset. Do you have a history with Roddy or Jenkins?

You act like they knew Michael Vick was going to be out the whole week. They had him on the list, they just didn't say he was definitely going to be out because they didn't know.

lol, jenkins is a LOT better than white. white is proof of a weak draft class at receiver

Who is the one upset? I just casually made a statement of fact. There is a reason Roddy has not been thrown to, a reason Jenkins is starting ahead of him. I've followed both receivers in college and in the pros. Jenkins is going to be a pretty good receiver for you guys. Roddy, maybe eventually, but right now he's just a rookie having a tough time feeling his way. Honestly, I will be surprised if he gets a single catch against us.
