INJURY UPDATE

Cornerback André Goodman, who had shoulder surgery Monday, won't be ready for the start of training camp in July. ''At some point thereafter, I'm sure he will be back,'' Cameron said, adding he will know more about a timetable during training camp.

• Guard Joe Toledo, who sustained a broken foot when he slipped in a team sauna last season, is still feeling soreness and didn't participate in Friday's on-field session, although the Dolphins expect him back by the June 8-10 minicamp. Others expected back by that minicamp: defensive end Matt Roth (groin), defensive tackle Keith Traylor (ankle), running back Patrick Cobbs (hamstring) and offensive tackle Anthony Alabi (knee).

• Second-round draft pick Samson Satele -- who played guard and center at Hawaii -- said he's now being used at center in workouts. The team has said moving center Rex Hadnot back to guard is a possibility.

• Draft choices John Beck and Lorenzo Booker missed practice Thursday and Friday to attend a mandatory Reebok commercial endorsement session in Los Angeles, including a photo shoot.

First-round pick Ted Ginn also attended, but he cannot practice because he's mending a foot injury and also because of NCAA rules involving graduation.

Except for the weekend after the draft, Ginn cannot join the Dolphins until Ohio State's graduation in June. All of the other Dolphins draft picks have had their graduations and can practice with the team.

Satele will be our starting center, hadnot wil be the starting RG. That is the making of a good o-line.

i didn't know that's how toledo injured himself last season...how embarrassing

I agree, I wish they had never moved Hadnot to C in the first place. He played very well at RG in 2005. So that leaves the O-line looking like:

LT Carey
LG ? - I'm guessing Liwienski, but I'd like to see Mormino or Stevenson.
C Satele
RG Hadnot
RT Shelton

Thank you... its about time. G is Hadnot's best position. He was a solid C... but played better at G his rookie year...

i really wish toledo could finally stay healthy and win a spot. preferably left guard.

.

Not surprised by that at all.

Thought all along he'd get every opportunity to take the starting C job this year. Rex just didn't look comfortable there.

well if the wild samoans cant opean up some hole for ronnie up the middle we need to sell the franchise and move to l.a. This is gonna rule we got like 700 llbs of samoian blocking for ronnie woohoo

This guy is starting to smell like Eddie Moore. The problem is: we could use him bigtime if he's healthy. The guys a freakin athletic giant: 6'5 330 and was actually in position to start right away as a rook last year before his injuries. That kind of player would drive me nuts. All that talent and always hurt!

It's like Clark Griswald tells Cousin Eddie in National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation:

"Eddie did anyone ever tell you, you're unlucky?"

True but he had a lot of false starts at the position.Hopefully playing C will help him in that respect.:)

I like what the coaches are doing with the line. Let's hope it translates to better play because that will make the entire offense dangerous.

He was injury prone in college, that was a big knock on him.
So far he can't escape the injury bug.

ya and his best blocking is in the pass and thats where our pcoket usually breaks down. in the middle of the line. we need taht pass protection at C big time.
