It has been confirmed that Grove has a sprain. Ricky, Garner, Berger & Carey got banged up, but it seems they figure to be fine. I didn't notice Clemons much in Thursday game wonder if he is injured. If Ferg is done I assume a returning Soliai will start & share snaps with Starks, McDaniels & probably an active Dotson. Guys Starks is having a probowl season. Im real interesting in seeing who Miami might be interested in if Ferg was done.
Ok that is for now, hope this next ten days really help our boys rest up and get back as many of them healthy as we can.
(On the team's injury update) - "I wouldn't know where to begin."
(On Jason Ferguson) - "I don't have anything on Ferguson right now. We're still in the wait-and-see mode with a lot of these guys because we got back so late. We sent a couple of guys to get some pictures taken and all that stuff, Ferguson is one of them."
(On if he is most concerned with the injuries to Ferguson and Jake Grove) - "I'm concerned about them all, not sure to the degree of whose worse one way or the other. None of it was great last night. Obviously, Ferguson, Jake did not come back, so those two at the time were just a little bit bigger."
(On Grove appearing to want to come back in the game) - "When we were down to me going into the game at that point, it was either him or me, and I think we would have been better off with him at that point."
(On if Randy Starks is the person who fills in for Jason Ferguson and Paul Soliai if both of them are out of the game) - "He was in there last night and Tony [McDaniel] was in there last night and I think both of them did a fine job in that situation having to go in there and step up and play in there. Randy is a hard guy to block when you're a center to block one-on-one, I mean really hard. He made a play in one of those short yardage situations last night, I think it was a 3rd and 1, and he kind of back-doored the center, swam the center, and made the play in the backfield, tackled for a loss. He is a hard guy to block that way. If we didn't have either player, which I don't know where we are right now with that, if we didn't, then some of those would have to go in there.."
(On if Matt Roth would be also be considered to fill in for Jason Ferguson and Paul Soliai) - "We will see."
On if Joe Berger is banged up) - "Well Joe was out of the game at some points. Yes, he was dinged up a bit. Vernon [Carey] will be alright I think."
(On if he expects to have all the injured players back in 10-days) - "Oh I don't know. We will see. We will see how it goes in the next couple…the good news is we have three extra days, so we will see how it goes."
(On if there was any word on Ronnie Browns surgery this morning) - "Yes, Ronnie had surgery this morning and the surgery went well."
(On if expects Ronnie Brown to be healthy for the 2010 season) - "Surgery went well. I don't have a crystal ball."
