Of note Jerry and Taylor DNP. Patterson limited. Guess all three may not play. Hope Patterson can give it a go.

I hope that rest last week will be good to Patterson. We will def need him this game.

Hell, I don't care if the guy plays every other game. As long as he makes a pick in that game it's fine by me.

see who participates friday and how much... should kinda tell who plays...

Sorry to hear John Jerry has a concussion, that's not cool.

I hope they hold him out a week for two reasons. One, because it allows him some time to heal and reduces the risk of further injury to him, and second, because it allows us to find out if Sam Brenner can do his job.

Was surprised to see that also, just thought he got a little shaken up. I think its very likely he wont play this week.

Ive completely given up on Patterson and the team should too. He is unreliable. Even if he practices, more than likely he will come out and not finish the game like he has all the weeks he has played after his injury.

I am sick of Patterson, how is someone injured SO MUCH.
If I am not mistaken, this is why he was released by the Browns midway through the season. He could not get over a nagging injury (don't remember what) and was not contributing. Sounds very familiar to this season. I really like him when he plays, but damn you just cannot rely on him.

Like Dennis Miller once said,"there are no minor groin injuries." My feeling is Patterson will play. They held him out last week for this huge game. I'm very concerned about the snow up there.

The dude has never played a whole season once since he entered the league in 2005.

I applaud the detective work of Ireland and his staff for signing and paying a guy with a major injury history 3M/year..

He was a depth guy on a succession of squads until he got a shot due to injury in 2010 with the Eagles. He's been out injured for 3 stretches in his career as far as I am aware. He broke his hand and was out for a few weeks as an Eagle, he got a high ankle sprain (which is notoriously slow-healing) in his second year with the Browns and was waived. We picked him up and put him on IR. The groin injury is the third injury he's had.

I agree it's frustrating, but it's not a repeat of any previous injury, so it'd be very harsh to say that scouts/Ireland should have known he'd tweak his groin. He's also on a very small deal considering his talent as a late bloomer (guy is 30!). He obviously doesn't set out to get injured - on the contrary it's because he's such a tough, committed player he probably exposes himself to injury risk.

I am glad to see him on the teamsheet and I feel bad for the guy when he doesn't make it. If our two high draft picks plus Nolan Carroll had all been greater successes sooner (and I say that as a supporter of Carroll as a depth player), then we wouldn't be remotely concerned about Dimitri's battle with his groin strain.

i think we will be ok if jerry doesn't play...should be able to plug that spot...

I would prefer to have jerry available in the event someone else gets banged up. We may have to lean on the oline if sloppy weather conditions prevail.
