Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins DE Jason Taylor (foot) was walking gingerly on his injured right foot Tuesday, Oct. 25. He's suffering from a torn plantar fascia. As previously noted, he is expected to play Week 8 despite the injury.

Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins DE Kevin Carter (calf) said that his right calf had been bothering him for a couple weeks before it was more severely injured Friday, Oct. 21, during the team's Week 7 game. There has been no word on his status for Week 8.

Dolphins | Saban Wants to Fly Game Day

Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins head coach Nick Saban wants the team to fly to Baton Rouge for their Week 8 game on game day. However, the NFL requires teams to fly in the day before games and had never made an exception until Friday, Oct. 21, when Kansas City played at Dolphins Stadium in advance of Hurricane Wilma. The Dolphins are having a hard time finding hotel rooms in Baton Rouge because LSU plays the night before.

Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins head coach Nick Saban said QB Gus Frerotte will remain the team's starting quarterback. "At this point, I'm not ready to say that changing quarterbacks is going to solve all our problems, so that's where it's at,'' Saban said Tuesday, Oct. 25, in his first comments since immediately after the Dolphins' 30-20 loss to Kansas City Friday night, Oct. 21. Saban said the lack of success on offense has more to do with the overall poor play of the players around Frerotte.
