Definition of insanity as they said is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different results.

1-They know MaCcain is getting beat like a mule, did they make change?

2-They know Fox is going to get Tanny killed, did they change ?

3-don't even get me stated on Dallas Thomas

4-Even the owners, they knew Phil couldn't win and they extended

5-what about me, I knew from preseason this team sux but I kept my faith in them. O my God am insane too !!

Stephen Ross is by far a bottom 5 owner in pro football. For him to keep the head coach around with his resume speaks for itself. Where is the accountability? It's always Sherman's fault, or Ireland's fault, or Incognito's fault, or Ochocinco's fault, or Jonathan Martin's fault, or Sturgis fault, on and on and on. The head coach has not once been held accountable since he was hired by Ross.

Ross is simply too scared to admit he hired the wrong guy. Huizenga looks like Kraft compared to this schmuck.

Remember, Ross is a billionaire so-- according to plenty of fans last year after he made the decision to retain Philbin-- his judgment is beyond reproach.

While I get the anger at Philbin and Ross.....I don't agree that Ross is a bottom 5 owner. By my view, Ross has given his football people everything they need to be successful......he has opened his checkbook, made the biggest transaction in Free Agency, brought in what some view as a good football mind in Tannenbaum (notice I said "who some view as a good football mind) and has given them all time to put it all to work and be successful. Tack on the improvements to the Stadium that he is paying for and I would say he is a better than average owner who is trying to do the right thing.

Nothing wrong with criticizing Ross's decisions....but he appears to be trying to do the right thing.

believe in the coaches preparation

this is a results business and where are the results under Philbin & Coyle???

I don't recall many fans agreeing with this.

Doesn't the league have a salary cap? He is not writing any more checks than anyone else right? Do you think he had anything to do with aquiring Suh-perbad? get a clue. TannenBum wrecked the jets before he left and had some of the worst analyst skills on the NFL network I have ever seen, and that network employs Heath Evans. ROSS is Mr. Magoo and he hires other Mr Magoo types.(when it comes to football)

Obviously. Rich people never **** up. It's because they're soooooo smart. :rolleyes2:

It's really simple. The Dolphins went into this season having decided that their guards (Dallas Thomas in particular) were good enough. They passed on Evan Mathis based on their talent evaluation. They should all be fired for that. They knew the linebacking core was the worst in football. They traded Dansby (who is nothing special) for Kenny Stills, weakening the linebacker position, and then not using Stills whatsoever.

On the other hand, maybe the line looked just fine in the preseason going against this pathetic pass rush/run stopping defense. Have to imagine that Cam Wake is done, and Olivier Vernon is plain and simple nothing special.

My bad for saying that, just frustrated today. I'm sure you know more about it than me(not sarcastic). But honestly, when an NFL team pays a player, does that really effect the Owners bank account? The teams are making money, so I thought the players salaries just go against the revenue the team makes. I guess I don't have the image of Ross's hands shaking as he personally wrote Suh his check. I dunno just rough being a Dolphins fan right now. No hard feelings intended though seriously.

Wasn't the whole point of Ross hiring Tannenbaum because he realized he is a business man and not a football guy, and shouldn't be Tannenbaum be the guy making the football decisions now. I would love to hear from him on the state of the current football coaches.

You said it.. He is a billionaire... So once ticket sales are irrelevant and his newly renovated stadium empty - He will pull the plug on Philbin
