Peter King said he had a conversation with wanstead and the coaches are growing impatience of Lucas. If Lucas follow his performance with a bad first half or even first quater then we could be see Rosenfel....

I didn't finish watching the show so I didn't get the see their picks for Fins game...

Well at least now we know that if Ray Lucas continues with his inconsistent play that coaches won't hesitate to put in Sage ...

I have had it with Ray and this inept offense. oh where have you gone JAY Fiedler?

hmmmm, the way things have gone this year, I'm not sure if all their pics are a good thing or a bad thing...

I'm getting to the point where I'd like to see Sage as well. I mean, if Ray stinks it up again, we've got nothing to lose (since we're already losing).

i'm definately in the minority...but i'd prefer to see sage on the bench, for now. he was a deer in the headlights vs GB, showed nothing. yes, ray stinks. but TO's have decreased after each game. i dont know, one more game. if they lose, put sage in and keep him in until jay comes back

Sage didnt get a shot Wanny admitted on 560am that he sent him in there with 3 plays 2 runs and a dump off. He was also instructed that if he felt pressure throw it away

well consider this:

a young kid with no NFL regular season snap is being thrown into the game on a prime time Monday night game against the fabelt Packers team in a legendary stadium in front of the most dedicated fans and a national television audience. This all happens with about 2 minutes left in the game and 60 yards away from the endzone and being send in with a temporary game plan of NOT turning the ball over against a defense who was drooling over the fact that under the very same circumstances as described above they were facing a 3rd string QB.

Are you surprised that this kid was nervous? Most of you have fears of speaking in front of 20 people never mind walking onto a field under those conditions.

What I did see: he did what he was supposed - play safe, do not turn the ball over. He was rushed out of the pocket 3 out of 5 snaps and threw the ball AWAY instead of throwing it into a tight coverage.

Playing at home makes huge difference - just ask Mark Bulger who said in his interview with "Inside the NFL" that starting 4 out of his 5 starts at home made it a lot easier because he didn't have to deal with the adversities associated with a road game.

Now, Lucas on the other hand is not only considered a veteran and has played night games before but is also a big mouth. All he does is talk...for 3 weeks now.

I do not want to lose but if my option is either losing with a QB which most likely will be released or losing with a young promising kid, I'd choose losing with the kid to at least see if there is potential.

My guess is: if we do not start scoring quickly you will see Sage in - like it or not.

I truly hope so,I would love to see what the KID can do. Can he Do much worse than Lucas's 3 losses. He you never know he might be the next Brady of Bulger of the NFL.

Exactly, Bulger was a 3rd stringer by the way.

I have a feeling that Lucas will have a good game .....
