The latest addition to the Dolphins has produced four Pro Bowl seasons, and that’s just scratching the surface of the numbers put up by Arian Foster.
Arian Foster became the second four-time Pro Bowl selection to join the Dolphins this offseason, as he joined defensive end Mario Williams.

That’s just one of the numbers that stands out about the veteran running back.

• Foster’s average of 88.8 yards per game from 2010-15 is the second-best in the NFL behind only the 97.2 by Adrian Peterson.

• Foster was third in the NFL from 2010-15 with 51 rushing touchdowns, six behind both Peterson and Marshawn Lynch.

• Foster’s four seasons with 1,200 or more rushing yards since 2010 are tied for most in the NFL with Peterson and Lynch.

• Foster has five seasons with at least 10 touchdowns, including a career-high 18 in 2010.

• Foster’s longest touchdown run was a 74-yarder against the Oakland Raiders in 2010, but he’s got two 78-yard touchdown receptions on his resume, both from Matt Schaub in 2011.

• Among his 32 career 100-yard rushing games was a career-best 231-yard performance against the Indianapolis Colts in the 2010 season opener.

• Foster has gone over 100 receiving yards three times in his career, all of them coming in the 2011 season.

I really hope he can be at least 75% of his previous self. That would really help out.

My hope is Ajayi and Foster can provide a 1-2 punch. Limit the number of touches given to Foster so he can stay healthy and give Ajayi the bulk of the carries.

This sounds good to me.

All those numbers are nice but they don't matter now. All that matters is what he does now. He needs to stay healthy for starters

Ozzy rules!!

We have had really bad luck in hoping that good injury plagued players will stay healthy with the exception of Grimes.....Albert, Delmas, and Moreno are the biggest ones that come to mind.

Seems like he's been around forever, but really if he can avoid injury there should be some tread on the tires at 29 years old. This post reminds me he has not been playing THAT long, even for an RB.

wow those are impressive numbers. Foster is not an easy tackle.

Yea foster's stats certainly look cheeky when you go back 6 years because there aren't exactly a plethora of running backs who had that sort of workload still in the league

He looked like a gimp running last year even when he was being productive he looked like he was a gust of wind away from an injury 24/7. If he can bring any sort of production though, I wouldn't really care how he looks doing it

One of my favorite players to watch. Hell, he and Wake are my two favorite players to watch in the NFL and on the same team. Lucky me. He makes it look effortless and so smooth, while at 235 he can lay a hit. He takes great care of himself and that injury last year was freakish. Let's all hope we get a full season of Arian at least at 90% of his old self. That's still an elite back.

He's an exceptional athlete. The injury won't just stop but sharing a load will help him out.
If this running game get going and the line holds we will have a very good offense.

It all comes down to how long he lasts. He is a great player when healthy...the problem is he hasn't stayed healthy the last 3 seasons.

I'm jealous. Living 15 hours away makes me wish I could go training camp next week like a lot you guys will. We have so many interesting parts this season, it'll be interesting to see how they fit.
