Defensively, the Chiefs have given up 695yds.(232yds/game.) through the air to their last 3 opponents(Oakland,Denver,San Diego). JaMarcus Russell proved again why he should not be a QB in this league throwing for only 132yds. and completing less than 50% of his passes. Both the Broncos and the Chargers fared better though the air gaining 286yds. and 277yds. respectively and a combined 4 tds. During that same stretch, the aforementioned teams were able to gain 380yds.(126yds/game) on the ground. All three teams gained over 100yds/game on the ground. Pennington and the R&R express should equally be able to pose problems for the worst defense in the league.

On offense, over the last 3 games, Kansas City has put up 56pts. The Chefs defeated the Raiders, but fell to the Chargers and Broncos. Larry Johnson only gained 183(61yds/game), but Tyler Thigpen, a QB, has gained 130(43yds/game). Thigpen has completed over 62% of his passes for 520yds(173yds/game). Thigpen has thrown 2ints. in the last 3 games.

All of Kansas City's TOs have come at the hands of Thigpen(2ints.) in the last 3 games. Once again we are first in the league in TO margin at +12, but KC is not far behind at +8.

No predictions for this game, as the coaching staff is going into a shell on offense and relying on the defense way too much to win the game. Hopefully, we can get by the Chefs.

Numbers don't lie, but I still feel wierd about this game. We just have a habit keeping teams that shouldn't compete with us in the game. Hopefully the team takes this game seriosly, their playoff lives depend on it.

But look at it this way, we are due to blow put a sub-par team!!!

it will be a close game, talent wise we are equals..
we really have a staff advantage here, we keep it close but normally win it.
this 2 win cheif team will find a way to lose to a team that finds a way to win...

Exactly. Forget the crap about how we have been so close to losing...we have been really close to absolutely dominating also...one more TD after the first couple in any of the last few games and they wouldn't have been close...

Time to destroy someone...

Lol, talent has meant nothing for us this year. If you compare our talent to the Broncos, we should have lost. If you compare our talent to SF, we should have lost. If you compare our talent to basically anyone that isnt extremely awful.. it looks like we'd lose.. but none of that's the case apparently. Anyways though I don't think it'll be close as we pretty much HAVE to establish the running game here, and Dan Henning will finally figure out that actually giving your runningback more than 13 carries is, well you know, beneficial maybe. Something I was hoping he'd figure out back in week 1..

The first win of the coming dynasty!!!

You know, I used to roll my eyes whenever I would see your signature. Seems that I was the foolish one and not you. If you believe, you can achieve

With those numbers there should be ZERO excuse for not going into Arrowhead and winning that game!!!

I know we're not there yet, but boy is the future of this team looking good right now...:kick::kick::kick:
