Inside the numbers - Ryan Tannehill's last 15 starts

lol he might but i think we're pretty desperate

You don't replace **** with **** the end result is the same.

It doesn't matter WvDolphan. Just let the season play out. And everyone will want this guy out. Its only a matter of time before they realize this kid is nothing special. Blast me all you want. Those last 2 games of the the season last year were enough for me to realize this kid will not win anything for you. And neither will the card reading coach.

And this might be correct but I can assure you Matt Moore won't be a QB that I want running the offense next.

if the result is going to be the same i'd at least like to be entertained. matt moore is far more entertaining.

Listen, I am not sold on Tanny, but it usually takes a team 8 games to click with a new OC. I do not see how we can bench the guy now.

Heres some numbers for the Matt Moore people.

Games played 38, yards 5,321, comp % 58.9, tds 33, int 28, qbr 79.3

Games played 32, yards 7626, comp % 59.5, tds 39, int 32, qbr 78.9

These are career stats for both qbs, pretty similar. If Tannehill has horrible stats then the same can be said for Moore. Grass isn't always greener on the other side. How about for a change, we support our QB no matter who it is, stop posting worthless stats like it matters and focus and rooting and cheering for our team. Win or lose im gonna support everyone on our roster and i wish you people would do the same.

Why does everyone want Moore to start? I think its pretty obvious that not even moore wants Moore to start. He is content being a backup and lacks the drive to become anything more. Imo that fact is painfully obvious. So just give it up. I agree tannehill has looked bad this year, but the bright side is he has looked bad in an entirely new way. Now he is missing throws, which he didn't have issues with before (other than the deep ball) but making better decisions and finding open receivers. Last year it was the opposite. I still have faith he could be great for us, but my faith is waning for sure.

My god that is terrible.

Im telling you guys, once people see this guy enough it is going to get worse before it gets better. His tendencies are all there on film. The good defensive coordinators take advantage of his inability to attack the entire field. He does not throw the ball well enough on most routes, even shorter ones, to do any serious damage.

If you go back and really break things down, you can see that there were a few times where Sherman worked miracles to generate any kind of offense with this guy at QB.
wv man, its not worth arguing with them.

most ppl think tannehill has potential not because he has shown over a consistent basis that he has the goods, but because he was drafted in the 1st round. its as simple as that.

if tannehill was playing like he has over 34 games for say the rams, vikings, chiefs, etc, ppl on here would be saying he is a bottom of the league qb.

while moore is no world beater as well, what is the difference between moore and tannehill?

they both take sacks, they both make too many costly turnovers. However, at least with moore, while he will take those bad sacks and may commit that 1 or 2 shake ur head play, he will also make lots of big plays down field, and the team will have the big play ability.

with tannehill, u get a qb who takes too many sacks, will also make a few boneheaded plays a game, and does not pose a threat to make the big play downfield on a consistent basis.

so ya, u guys can claim all u want how tannehill is way better than moore, but if u r saying that based on how he plays, u r lying to urself. its only because he was a ''first round pick''.

same reason ppl held onto hope for henne, even though he was a 2nd round pick, because the dolphins drafted him to be the future, so he must have been good.

moore has been labeled as a career backup qb, so its easy to rip on him. tannehill is no better. face the reality.

This is the second time I've seen someone accuse Moore of not wanting to start. Where do you get this crap from?

the guy had his own college coach for the first 2 years and couldnt click.

he had the entire offseason, training camp, preseason games to work with lazzor, im done with the excuses.

he is making the same mistakes he has made the first 2 years. nothing has changed

not really following you on the whole bright side aspect

The offense looked better with Moreno instead of Miller/Thomas. Changing players changes the results.
Why not try to run the offense with Matt Moore? What do we have to lose? RT is not developing, still slow to release the ball, and throwing poorly.
Ryan Tannehill is not a starting NFL QB. It was known in college and his scouting reports are still right on the money.
Continuing with RT when he is not improving? What is the point.
Sitting him on the bench might lite a fire under him. Let him watch Matt Moore lead the team and think about what he is going to lose.
He has leveled off as a mediocre QB. I am not satisfied with our QB play.
I am a Miami Dolphins fan, not a RT, Matt Moore, or Lazor or Philbin fan.
Whatever it takes to win.
We can WAIT until something improves, or we can make CHANGES until it improves.
I want changes.
