Inside the numbers - Ryan Tannehill's last 15 starts

FOLES missed a lot of throws today but was saved by Sproles in many occasions teams got tape on him and can study him from last year.

Luck is 0-2 this year and has had 2 chances to do something late in games and failed, and didnt have a "amazing" year last year but had a great playoff win.

RG3 had a terrible year last year and is hurt again hes becoming the DROSE of football.

Tannehill is still up there WV hates on anything and anyone he doesnt like. I saw Matt Moore & seen enough of Matt Moore i dont want him to start or play unless its a injury.

Tannehill is what he is. I'm not ready not name him ruler of the universe nor pull the plug on the Joe & Ryan show.

There can only be one master of the universe and his name is Adam! :chuckle:

Guess you don't like scoring more than the league average in points, suit yourself.

2 arguments I can't stand:

1. Why isn't the all mighty Matt Moore starting for another team.
2. Tannehill may be struggling but Moore is not the answer.

These arguments make no sense and only show posters are not paying attention. If Ryan Tannehill sucks, and he has been sucking, then saying we have a better chance to win with Moore isn't a stretch. It's not saying Moore is a future hall of famer but just batter than a bad QB. Not that hard to understand. As for argument 2, well those guys are right Moore is not the answer. Captain obvious much? But when do we realize Tannehill is not the answer either and play the QB who gives us the best chance to win in 2014?

Now I'm not a Tannehill hater, in fact I'm holding out hope that he turns things around and becomes a good to great QB. Just drives me nuts how quickly fans discount the possibility that Matt Moore may be better. I hope he's not but the last 9 games of 2011 was best the Miami Dolphins offense has looked in years. Anyone who denies that is as blind as a bat because it's a fact that IMO anyone who disputes would look pretty stupid. Bottom line is I'm sure guys like WV and Enigmatics would gladly admit they were wrong if Tannehill was to turn this around and become a good to great QB because after all being right about what we post on a silly fan message board isn't all that important (not really important at all) but I think there points are valid. To me we score more points with Moore at QB but probably suffer from more dumb plays. Not sure how that would come out in the wash but at least it would be fun to watch. This offense, under Ryan Tannehill, has been fun to watch like 3 times total. After all watching an offense consistently fall short of the league average in scoring isn't all that fun.

9 games??? Moore was 6-6 with a 16-9 td int ratio and 87.1 rating against pretty poor opponents and with Reggie bush and Brandon Marshall!!! How is that any better??? Don't cherry pick the stats to help your point when the whole picture proves otherwise.

OH C'mon it was better even if you count the whole stretch. Like I said Moore will make more dumb mistakes but the offense would score more. Lets not act like Ryan Tannehill had never played any cream puffs and still failed to put up 30+ points. People talk about the eyeball test on here all the time how can anyone not see our offense in 2011 was way better than it's been in 13, 13 and so far in 14?

at least moore did what good qbs are supposed to do vs weak opponents, and that is beat them up.

tannehill cant even play well vs the crappy opponents.

While they weren't wins, they played the Patriots and Cowboys competitively in those away games. Lost by a point to Dallas and the defense squandered a 17-0 half time lead.

That's the thing with him, he doesn't play down to those crappy teams. We beat the hell out of them like we should have.

If Mike Wallace wasn't making plays Tannehill wouldn't have ****?

Oh come on! Is this sarcasm??? I hope so because you're a better poster than that. Just for fun I'll bite. What would we ever do without his 930 yards and 5 td's??? Or his mind numbingly stupid sideline awareness. Or his almost drop of his week one td. His week 2 td was pretty sick but that's about it this season. Again I'm not tannehill loving, he's been awful this season and a chunk of last but let's at least try to be objective.

Wallace is the only reason the other scrubs are open.

Is hardly consider the Pats and bills horrible opponents. And yes moore did play well against weak opponents but he also blew chunks against the decent ones.

Define Blew chunks? I remember more competitive games then I've seen out of Tannehill's last 4. Was he worse that that?

Whoa I know we won the Pats game but Tannehill was not very good. That was the defense and SP giving him very short fields more than anything else (178 yards passing) and a dumb Chad Henne like INT

You take Wallace off this offense and every half looks like the first half yesterday. His 930 yards and 5 TDs should have been 1300+ and 9+ if his qb could throw a deep ball. His first TD this year was every bit as sick as his second in traffic ball thrown high, hard and once again behind him! Wallace was between 3 defenders and came down with it. At this point he is easily our most improved player on offense. If you really don't see the attention Wallace gets from the defense I can't help you, it most certainly isn't his fault he knocks the top off the defense and never gets a good ball.

Yes and Brandon Marshall and Bush had NOTHING to do with that better offense. It was all Matt Moore. Your hate has blinded you. Tanny has stunk up the joint but moore was not any better.

Yes against the Chargers, Giants, Broncos, Eagles and the Jets (twice) he absolutely was awful. His before half fumble also lost us the Dallas game.

No you're making that argument. But notice the pieces performed BETTER with Moore instead of Henne. That's because the QB's play permeates through the rest of the offense. That was the most balanced I had seen it in a long time between run and pass.

Your kindergarten antics invoking childish "hater" arguments blind you.

See this is the kind of stupidity I can't stand.

Moore showed up late in training camp and wasn't allowed to practice with the 1's. It's not reasonable to expect him to need a few games to gain familiarity once Henne went down? On what planet is that reasonable? Just toss the guy into the fire with no prior experience in this system or with those starters and expect he set the world on fire. Makes sense.
