Ran some numbers based on the 1st 5 weeks win-loss records compared to last years win-loss (nothing else to do on a bye week):

Teams we play based on last years records, combined w-l and %:
152-104 .59% Toughest in the NFL

Teams we have played in the 1st 5 weeks, combined w-l and %:
14-9 .61% Toughest part of our schedule with Atl, Indy, Jets and SD

Teams remaining after bye, combined w-l and %:
22-31 .41% Two 0-5 teams, one 1-4 team, one 1-3 team, two 2-3 teams, NE twice 3-2, Jets 3-2, Pitt 3-2 and 4-0 NO

Conclusion:
1) Teams change alot in the off season so that statistic is always so bogus
2) Best is yet to come for Miami!:hump:

Also, if you take out the Buffalo W-L, we played ATL, INDY, SD, and Jets =
Combined 14-5 W-L = Whopping .74%
- Perfect in the division and found a QB in the process - Still not to bad - Best is yet to come.

Henne looked really good last week. He will be tested against N.O. and so will our D.

thx. more feel good news. cant wait for next week. to watch my dolphins again.

Yeah, I was going to post something to this extent. The saints are the toughest Opp. we face after that... it is a cake walk.

I really think week 17 is gonna be a dogfight with both us and Pittsburgh needing a win to get in.

lets hope so.. but i would much rather have the division title rapped up and that game not mean a thing.. hehe

The difficult part of the schedule is that Miami will be on the road after NO for 6 out of 8 games.

Im with ya. If its week 17 and the Pit game is meaningful for both teams then a) Im thrilled because that means we had a solid season with a very tough schedule and b) I always like our chances at home in a big game.

It really is NOT good our schedule may be easier!! We're REBUILDING & need to play all the BEST Teams. Then we can accurately measure & assess all our players & needs.

Although it sure was fun last year .... did us little good to beat some cream puffs in the 4th quarter, then get a Thump-Job from Baltimore who could actually play football. (Baltimore wasn't even that good, & got thumped in turn.)

Easy schedule just made many fans think we were good, could block, play Defense, etc. etc. What good comes out of playing Buffalo??

First 3 games showed us exactly where/how we need to improve!!! Bring it on!! In Tuna we Trust!!:hump:

Good stats...I heard something today on the radio that was interesting....the Washington Redskins have played a team every week this season with ZERO wins, and the Patriot's opponents in every game this year has had ZERO losses.

No it's not a cake walk. Immediately after NO we have N.E then travel to the Jets. IMO the Jets game will be the toughest of the remaining games.
