I watched the play by play online until the end of the first half. From there I was only sporadically able to check in.

For someone who didn't watch the game 3 points in the second half is a bit of a surprise. My question is: What was the cause? Was the energy level down? Mistakes? Did we let up on the peddle? Any concern from the fans here on how the second half went?

Landry and Miller were taken out of the game. I sporadically watched it but I would image we put subs in on defense too.

Rested starters. Let off the gas. That kind of thing. I guess the short week had the coaches wanting to save their starters

It became a practice in the 2nd half, that's why... mostly in flexing the running game. Imo a good call with NE on Thurs. Did you see what happened to Foster also?
Nah, rest the starters and get some good reps for your bench players. Will pay dividends later on.

subs played all second half on defense

Not true. Suh and Jones were I there until the 4th. Seems to me we just went base and allowed anything over the middle.

Foster is a glass house. Looks like a non contact injury and said achilles. My guess torn. Guy is done.

It's not a concern at all. We rested players and also had class that our next opponent lacks and didn't run up the score. That said, if we come out with this kind of aggression against NE, I will be thrilled and an avid believer in Campbell. Not saying I don't like what he has done, but let's see us against a true contender. Win or lose, let's see how this plays out.

Seemed clear to me they were content being up by 41 points. There's nothing wrong with it. Winning 65-0 doesn't happen in the NFL.

lol really?

How can anyone be concerned about what took place during the 2nd half? Have you ever watched a blow out before?

I had hoped we rested everyone. Wasn't sure if that wss the case when I saw Tanehill still in until the last drive.

As long as it wasn't an emotional/mental release by the players is my only concern.

Campbell just said they were subbing guys a lot. They'd let the d-line starters play a bit while playing some backup secondary guys, then they'd rotate backup d-line with secondary starters. They were trying to keep guys fresh for Thursday while trying not to lose the game.
