It's very simple guys, not being pessamistic but what if things go bad tommorow and we end up losing?

It's very common these days in sports to go out there with confidence as a major team and end up losing. Things can always go wrong and if your team is not prepared then there is a chance that they might go out of contention.

If I can go back to recent memory, do you remember when the rams faced the patriots? The rams seem to be unbeatable and there was no team out there that could challenged them. The outcome was different than expected and they ended up losing.

Just imagine if we go out there tommorow and we end up dropping passes and our quarterback ends up getting hurt or throwing interceptions out there. Our defense gives up too many points or one of our key players goes down.

How prepared are the Miami Dolphins for these type of situations in the next string of games?

That answer will be answered tommorow and if we lose it means that we didn't prepare for the worse.

ok you are very weird:confused:

Anything can happen out there on the football field, we can either win or lose....period. One things for certain, the guys will give it there all and Saban will have them ready, I have to believe that. On another note, I personally don't see us winning every game and going to the playoffs at this point, but we can hope.

Don't be so negative...be a glass half full kind of guy.

Hey, playoffs is nice to think about . . . but lets face it . . when u start 1-6, u really don't deserve the playoffs, this team has to get off to better starts and not be put in the postion of needing this team and that team to lose. Lets just take one game at a time, and if we do are part we put ourselves in the best postion to extend our season

well honestly, they have nothing to loose so lets hope they play like that. If we lose we lose, it wont be east but lets hope we can win!

I don't think anyone here has this as a guaranteed win and if they do they don't know much about football. The Jags are a very good football team who like us, up to the past 4 weeks, can be very mistake prone. I expect a hard fought, physical, low scoring football game where both teams concentrate on their offenses not blowing the game for them. This game will be pulled out in the 4th quarter. I'm ready for a nail biter, I'd feel a lot more comfortable with Ronnie Brown toting the rock for us but realize this game will need to be won by the defense and passing game. Chambers needs to be involved tomorrow and Booker and Welker need to continue. The Texans have shown if you can confuse Garrard he will become a turnover machine. I expect Del Rio to hand it off a lot and let his QB run with it. We better spy Garrard or we will be in big trrouble. That guy gets first down like everytime he takes off with the ball.

With all that being said, I say we will a victory tomorrow.

good post juniorseau55. it seems like every week someone posts on the board how he has a good feeling and we're going to put up 700 yards and dominate the game and it always jinxes us. so i love the reverse psychology. just keep it real, are playoffs probable no, possible yes... hey over optomistic people are dissapointed often, pessimists are often pleasantly surprised...

Its not more about psychology but here is how a win is determined.

1. How well did the coaching staff anticipated the challenges

example: The idiotic "lobster game against Minnesota"

Wanny knew the game wasn't going to be easy so he end it up losing.
He told the players that the game was a trap and he was ******ed enough
not to prepare properly against a loss that he predicted.

2. How well did the coaching staff prepared the players mentally to
prevent mistakes and execute properly.

3. How well the key players respond to the challenge.

sadly this is the last factor

4. The performance of the players as a whole.

If miami can overcome number 1 and number 2 then the rest of the factors have no outcome in the structure of a team win. Sometimes a game is won by the force of a person as a leader and as a performer.

WTF? How about this: We think about what if a gigantic meteor is hurling straight toward Dolphin Stadium and instead of fans in the seats it is filled with little babies holding seal pups. And what if at the same time the meteor was heading for the destruction of all the innocent babies that Osma BinLaden was planning on crashing a Rocket Ship into the stadium and what if that happened and everone dies!!!!! Do you think that we are prepared for that? HOLY CRAP DUDE! What are you smoking?
