This thread is for those of us with some football IQ who understand that this is a good draft. That We have a qb guru coach, we have the guy who worked extensively with Quinn in college as our QB coach and we passed on him for a reason. That ginn now gives us a legit deep threat and the ability to score on every play allowing chambers to get back to his pro bowl position. Reach or not, if you had him rated highly and quinn was not your guy, he was the perfect pick for us. This thread is for the people who now want to start talking about this team next year and the promise it will show. If you hate this draft stay off this thread please. You have 1000 of your own threads going right now. I am sick of defending this draft on those. Only positive future looking posts here. Thank you.

Personally I can't wait to see all of where ginn will be used. anyone have any thoughs on this? more trick plays possibly? anyone know if he can throw the ball? a reverse or double reverse with him throwing instead of running could def catch a few teams off guard.

i'm with u, i can't tell u how happy i am to know we finally have that ability to return kicks..... when was the last time we had someone return a punt or a kickoff for a touchdown?
look at what devon hester did for the bears!

I for one am very happy with the draft. Not only did we add our future franchise QB in Beck, we got our future pro bowl WR in Ginn. Ginn will be our 3rd WR probably, and our return guy. I feel that Booker and Ginn will both be used in some trick plays.

The future looks bright for Miami...

this was definitely a great first day for us... i cant even think of how it would have turned out better...

in the 2nd when detroit was on the board i thought they were gonna take Beck, THANK GOD they traded down and we were able to get him... Beck is going to be a real good player for us...

then Setele with our 2nd 2nd and i was bugging out, great first day...

I think the FO has a plan and believe that...We are headed in the right direction...The Dolphins are going to be a very good team in the upcoming years...

i was watching some of the films last night and got excited with the speed thats coming in, especially with our defense, our O wont need to do much work, especially if ginn comes in and has a hestor-like impact on ST

im really starting to like the booker pickup, his cutbacks are just nasty, too bad he was so poorly used at FSU (not really, go Canes!)

when phili took kolb i was dancing, i knew it left Beck for us, and he was the one of the qbs i liked going into the draft

i just saw carey is being moved to left tackle, who is going to be on the right side now?

glad you have the ability to read. stay off this thread if you have nothing good to post. you have your own threads taking over this board at the moment.

Count me in as one of the few that have a football IQ. We have a championship defense that added a major piece with Porter. We have an offense that scared nobody with a deep threat and we had no speed. Some people want us to go with o-line. I think we brought in a few linemen in free agency or just picked them up. I think these picks so far are adding to the puzzle. Beck was good choice...even if he doesn't play this year. He can learn the system and be ready because no matter if it's Green or CPep neither one will be starting for us in 3 years.

Go Phins!!!!

yeah i dont know whats going on.. but i think this is a solid draft so far... i mean a few things could of gone better like ... khalil not getting picked right b4 us ... but samson is good too... as for the ginn pick ... i was originally upset but not because we picked ginn but because he was not fully healthy .. if he returns to form then i have no problem with the ginn pick... im really excited about beck... he is very accurate and has a short quick delivery... and he threw the ball 70 yards one game so thats a pretty good arm... im extremely happy with the draft and im ready to cheer OUR FINS!!!!!!!

If Ginn turns out to be our Steve Smith, was he worth #9. I dislike the idea of playing Russian roulette at the QB position in the top 10. Why did Philly take a second round QB with Feeley, and Holcomb, under Donovan. Must be nice to have picks to throw around like that. Is Booker better for us than Pittman would have been? Was the O-line that bad with Joey that we have to spend all of our high pix on OL? We have Houck and brought in several guys last year: Alabi, Toledo etc.

There is a lot to this kid Ginns story... wanna bet we see him in coverage someday... if he ints, more often than not it's 6. Here is the link to the rest of the page, there is a lot there, the nfl video is the better of the two imo.
