Intentional Grounding?

Pats played dirty yesterday- simple. They were scared and playing that way. Refs missed a lot of calls and I'm glad the team played through it.

They were also playing ENTITLED. As if they believe their reputation and share Brady's pissy fit because people don't roll over and let them win.

Lots of chippy stuff in that game. Illegal hits on Tanny. Knocked out Wilson. Blows to head on RB and ball carriers after stood up or when going down. Raping Hartline around the neck.

Looked like they were trying to win by taking out players. Or just so hissy that they couldn't help themselves.

Even all the Pats fans I was with, were shocked at the no call on Hartline..

If you watch the play with potential grounding there was a wr in the area the ref pointed at him immediately

At the 6:06 mark in the 3rd quarter Brady intentionally grounds the ball. He fails to get the ball pastv the LOS. The back was 7 yards beyond where the pass fell. It was a missed call.

The refs helped both qbs up.
Tons of missed calls..
What bothered me most was the neck and head shots they kept coming in with.
Also hurt a few guys.. Sims took a bad one after his catch

Agree on both calls. I remember talking to my screen about the intentional grounding not being called.

you're probably looking at a different pass then because the one I saw the ball didn't get to the LOS and if it did not by much and the receiver was more than 5 yards from it.

To think this league changed the rules yet again and made such a huge emphasis on holding, hands to face, ect. and then they just ignore the Pats particularly the hit to heads on recievers both offense and defensively. Its a sure sign the league favors certain teams.

The Ray Rice thing really burns me. Its a cover up bigtime. Zero ethics/integrity from this commisioner.

Looking for what will happen to two Pitt RB's with possession of marijuana. If the law lets them go, Roger will too. And prob wont piss test them.

TEams who clearly get favored by the commish

Ravens (two PI calls on us for an easy 7 for them last year and Ray Rice)
Pats (Kraft just praised Goodell yesterday. Seriously dude? you suck!)
Steelers (Big Ben Rapelisberger, the infamous "scrum" made up rule by 3 Pittsburgh area refs in a Pittsburgh game)

Please tell me Im wrong.

It sure does. I think you nailed it too with the 3 teams that get the most beneficial calls. I was thoroughly shocked last season when the refs gave up on the final play against Pittsburgh. Its like they didn't call the off sides, they didn't call the numerous holds and chop blocks, but then they just gave up and didn't even try to say that brown was in bounds. I was really expecting a review, and subsequent bs call saying TD Steelers win!

Seems to happen in most Patriots/Dolphins games, all we can hope for is that the missed calls will not be game changing calls like they were when Miami played in NE, and like they will probably be when Miami plays again in NE.

I was yelling at the TV for both plays. Brady was not out of the pocket, and the ball never reached the line of scrimmage.

The interference on Hartline was pathetic, and I DO think he would've made the catch.

There was another no-call a little later that had me incensed as well. I can't recall what it was at the moment though.

There was an offensive PI that should have been called in the play on the sideline where Finnigan had a chance at the pic and the WR tackled him to keep him from getting the there.

There was another internional grounding call that wasn't called on Brady when Wake stunted up the middle and brady took a few steps back and threw it over towards his right. He was directly behind the center, certainly not outside of the tackle, and the ball didn't travel back to the LOS. There were no WRs in the area.
