Interest in Arrington Rises

Didn't really say to much on Arrington, but enough to say we are interested a little more. Well, what do you think 1000, are we gonna get him:eek:

Well, its the title of the article  It basically says we have increased our interest since Peterson signed with the Seahawks.

To me, this means we are in talks about a contract.

A contract is what we need!!Man, that would be a solid LB core

this move would surprise me, unless Saban thinks he can change his style of play. I went back to his Draft scouting report and he's had the same knock on him that the Skins were complaining about. He's great, but he freelances to much, and is out of position often. I just can't see that being a good fit for this style defense, and the fact that he's proabably going to want 18million guaranteed. I just don't see it happening, but we'll see!!!

I'm not sure if I really want Arrington on the team at a price tag near what Peterson got. Holy geez he got a lotta money. But, if the front office thinks we can handle his cap hit now and in the future then I trust them. ryan.

All the big FA's are signing. We need to act fast if we're to sign Lavar.

Lavar, Tank Williams, Larry Allen...and I swear I won't ask for anything this Chritmas! :D

then you don't understand the 3-4 scheme and the role of the rush LB. arrington would be a PERFECT fit in saban's 3-4 scheme and is exactly why we've been pursuing him.

If Arrington can't drop back into coverage from that position, he's not of much use there. They'll know exactly what he's doing every play. I think he would cost us more plays that he would make.
