It doesn't metion if Nick also called. The only things I could think of is he 1)he had problems with Saban or vice versa 2)Bengals had more to offer 3)Saban knows something we don't know about Ben or about our current guys 4)Houck knows something we don't know.

I wish him the best of luck though. Would have loved to have seen him here. He was dominate and to see someone go down like that is heartbreaking. Has the potential to be a great center a la Dwight Stephenson.

We'll see.
 
His injuries were pretty serious. So serious I think it took him off Sabans mind. I hope he can recover and have a good NFL career.

I hope so too. I guess I'm just really eager to get rid of sweaty Seth.
 
I wonder what really happened between Ben and Saban. Saban knows him very well, and we are weak at C...so why not pick him up and stash him for a year? It wouldnt cost us too much. I wonder if coach HH had anything to do with this??
 
Saban coached Wilkerson for years, he knows him very well, better than any coach in the league, he had every opportunity to sign him this year and he didn't. There is no mystery,It doesn't matter what anybody else thinks about Ben, Saban thinks he's not an upgrade to anyone on this team. Saban doesn't think Wilkerson was worth a spot on this team. Simple as that, case closed.
