Saw this in Peter King's MMQB article today and thought I would share.

• MIAMI: No player has been more productive rushing the passer on third down than Cameron Wake recently. Over the last three years, he's had 52 combined sacks/hits/hurries in 220 third-down pass-rush opportunities.

when they brought him in on 3rd downs in 09 i said let this guy play every down. the announcers would say "they bring in cameron wake the pass rushing specialist" and every time they said that he was making a huge sack or forcing a bad throw

That number would be enormous. I have watched games where he seems to be held almost every pass play.
