Since 1990, the Dolphins have drafted No. 12 or higher six times. All but one of those picks went to a pro bowl:

(T) Richmond Webb (No. 9 in 1990) - 7 pro bowls
(CB) cornerback Troy Vincent (No. 7 in 1992) - 5 pro bowls (with PHI)
(LB) Marco Coleman (No. 12 in 1992) - 1 pro bowl (with WAS)
(RB) Ronnie Brown (No. 2 in 2005) - 1 pro bowl (more to come?)
(WR) Ted Ginn Jr. (No. 9, 2007) - well....hmmmm.....no
(T) Jake Long (No. 1, 2008) - 2 pro bowls (more to come?)

Based on this history and what the Trifecta did with Jake Long, we can have faith that they will land us another likely pro bowl player with that pick.

:chuckle:

To be fair you can't blame Ginn on the current regime. The Pat White pick was horrendous, but I'm hopeful that Ireland and co will learn from their mistake. Also, their two first round picks (Long and Davis) have turned out OK.

I wouldnt say Davis has "turned out ok".

I'll back him all day and he's done well for his first season, but he has alot to learn yet, so wouldnt be saying he was an "outstanding" selection just yet.
