I know it's way too early, but there are some interesting mocks for the fins right now.

1.AJ Hawk, LB Ohio State
2.Reggie McNeal, QB Texas A&M

1.D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT Virginia
2.Kellen Clemons, QB Oregon

1.Matt Leinhart, QB USC

1.Omar Jacobs, QB Bowling Green
2.Joe Thomas, OT Wisconsin

These are just a couple. Thoughts?

all i know is when that wr from georgia tech comes out we need to get him he is going to be a beast

I like the first one more than the rest even though we don't need a LB but Ferguson is still on the board. The guy who made the first one is too much of a "stat watcher" than a game watcher judging by some of the picks, like CB Gabe Fullbright, QB Bruce Gradkowski, & WR Todd Watkins.

I like the 2nd one (because I love Brick) but I don't know a hell of a lot about Kellen Clemons though.

Clemens is not a 2nd round QB or an NFL starter. He's got as many mechanic problems as Jacobs & he's now running an Urban Meyer type offense, that won't help.

I can't see us taking an LB when LT is so strong and QB is such a need.

Woah! I didn't know we spent a 3rd on A.J.

Not a chance. A.J. if The Brick and any blue chip signal caller are gone...

in fact, I take it back.

There's no way we get these guys with a pick in the late 20's.

Linebacker may be a tremendous value position in the 2006 draft. It's going to be a very loaded position at the top. Ahmad Brooks, Chad Greenway, and AJ Hawk are sure fire first round picks with Abdul Hodge and one of my personal favorites, Freddie Roach from Alabama, also possible first round prospects. Keep an eye on Freddie Roach. Nick is very familiar with his play.

I dont see the Dolphins not picking up a big, 2-gap Nose Tackle in the 1st our 2nd rounds, someone like Haloti Ngata or Gabriel Watson.

I can't believe they have the Dolphins taking a LB third overall. No way does that happen. Not unless the LB is also a DE that can rush the passer. No way do we invest top dollars in a LB when we dont have a franchise QB or LT on the roster.

Other spots ahead of LB are DL, CB, QB, and LT. I would even say a top flight WR, before LB, is needed. Even if Seau leaves, he could easily be replaced with a solid veteran LB in FA.

I thought it was a second.....

I definitely love the 1st one. AJ Hawk is a machine and McNeal would be fine in rd 2.

A Dt in rd 2 wouldnt have upset me either. Like Disgustipate said, we're going to need a younger 2 gap Nose tackle.

And please no more Oregon QB's (Kellen Clemons). Not only does Aj suck but Akilli Smith and Joey Harrington sucked too. I dont want an Oregon QB or any kind of Tedford coached QB within 100 miles of this team unless we're playing again 1 of those mistake prone busts
