Colts: Addai, Rhodes
Pats: Dillon, Maroney, Faulk
Bears: Jones, Benson
Saints: Mcallister, Bush

All four conference championship teams have Running Back By Commitee's. What does this say? By using two running backs, your running backs stay healthy for the long haul of the season and come playoff time they are still fresh. Cam Cameron used Tomlinson a lot BUT also used turner to spell LT and at the end of games when it was out of reach to rest tomlinson. If Ricky comes back, Ricky and Ronnie combined in this offense have the opportunity to do great things and be one of these RBBC's at the end of the season.

just an interesting observation....

Cam Cameron is gonna make ronnie a star, and ricky's gonna be a monster spelling him.

Ya if Cameron and HH can build up a good O-line and find a producing QB I think Ronnie will become an elite back under Cameron. Also, because I think Cameron is going to get Ronnie a lot of oppurtunities to have the ball near the endzone!

Not an indictation for their victory. Besides the Bears, all of them have Pro Bowl QBs.

R&R were an awesome tandem. Ricky's a beast and a great complement to Ronnie. Who I hope will shine more this season. Looking forward to seeing them on the field together again!

I hope we keep Ricky, I've never been an advocate of trading him for several reasons. First, I think he is much more of a gamebreaker than Ronnie. Second, I don't think we could get as much value in a trade as he is worth on the field, if he can ever get there.

I still don't like RBBC. It's always nice to have a good back-up running back who is a change of pace but I'm looking forward to seeing Ronny excel as our featured back.

i think you need two or more good backs in todays NFL. good way to change the pace and prolong your backs career.

As do most Championship teams.

Why it's so ridiculous we haven't drafted ANY decent QB prospects in well over a decade if not two decades.

Bears and saints really arent by committee. I mean McAllister and Jones are clearly the guys that usually get the ball 20x a game.

Benson is a change of pace for jones slashing syle. Bush's speed and elusiveness complement McAllisters power well.

I agree with the premise that all teams should have 2 good backs if you plan on being a very strong team but they should different types of backs. Ricky and ronnie are both power runners who have some speed but theyre alike, not different and thats how you make a good backfield; your runners ideally comeplement each other.

That said if a good offer for RW doesnt come along, i happy keeping him. i still have my rw jersey cause i am a Rw fan.

yeah the problem with rickey and ronnie is that they are both slow starters. you really dont want your change up guy to need 8 carries to get into his rhythm

Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown would be a monster combo. You've got a shifty yet powerful back in Williams and a hammering yet graceful back in Brown.
