Interesting idea - trade 26 + 2nd + 3rd for SF 13

In a true Jimmy Johnson move, I think we need to trade 26 to the Rams and get both of their 2nd round picks # 52 and 57. Gives us 4 2nd round picks. This works perfectly on the trade chart value. Then if I can get the Raiders to play, I trade 57 and a 7th round pick for their 3rd and 4th. They have 2 third round picks. This way I pick up 2 extra picks through the first 4 rounds for a total of 9 picks. 1-qb, 3 OL, 1 S, 1RB, 1 WR. 1DL. 1 LB

They want to get more picsks. It’ll help us get a first round talent and dump some of those later picks. I’d even think about trading a 5th for Fournette. 4 days left fellas.
I highly doubt that's what Jax is thinking I do like the Sf trade though

If we go QB at 5....then I was thinking trade 26 and a future first to get into the top 10 and draft a top Tackle to protect that QB. Don't wait and settle for a later tackle, go get a stud Tackle like Wills. Have to protect that investment.

if someone i loved was on the board at #13, i'd be on the phone to SF. don't know if I'd give up a 2 and 3. Maybe the 2 we got from the Saints.

A 2nd and a 3rd for a #13 1st round pick? Who wouldnt make that trade? I am sorry but we have too many picks not to make that trade.

We could literally rebuild the oline in the 1st round if we wanted to.

If you do that who are you targeting in round 2?

This was the best case scenario mock I could come up with when using your idea.

If we take QB at 5, then this strategy essentially requires us to draft Jones at 18 or were taking a serious risk of walking away from this draft without adequately addressing the OL with top level talent.

I don't think our answer should be to rely on our 1st OT at 39...where the talent pool is something like Jackson, Cleveland, and Wilson. 2 of them might not even last that long, and then Wilson would be a reach. I think 39 is the perfect pick in our draft where we should take BPA --- guys like Antoine Winfield, or Jonathan Taylor could be had. Sure, it is possible that Cesar Ruiz is there at 39, but hes been hyped a lot lately...I think he goes before that pick. So if we took Jones at 18 I would be ok with this, but no other way...its too risky otherwise.

I'd much rather that we make a trade up into the 7-13 range and grab one of the Big 4 OT's myself.

I think it would be easier to just move from 18 to 13 by including #70.

Then you could trade back from 26 for an early 2nd and a 3rd.

I'd rather trade 2 picks for 1 than 3 picks for 1.

looking at the value chart I am thinking 26, lower 2nd rounder and a fourth

Agreed.

I want to move UP from 18 and DOWN from 26(unless there is a player I can't pass on there).

But Miami should be able to use some of their 3 fifth rounders to move UP from 141 to target a player in the early to mid 4th.

I would try to use the 3 three 7th's to move up as well, or find a team who will part with 2021 picks for them.

I do not want a 12-14 man rookie class.I would rather target 8-9 players who will be more impactful. But they do need depth all across the roster too.

He's saying add a 2nd and a 3rd to our #26 to move up 13 spots to #13.
