Interesting Mock..

Burrow has not been that good. Terrible mock lol.

I agree Burrow first overall is a bit much. However a lot of people of like to throw Tuas stats around here as justification. Burrows are almost just as good, except the 3 ints for the season. But has a 79.6% completion rate, which is a bit higher than Tua. Stats aren’t everything.

I agree due to not addressing Oline or DE which are bigger needs than RB and WR in the first. Also CB.
Yeah there's no way I'm taking a RB that high or a WR that high when the WR miss % in the first round is so high. This is a deep WR class so we could get one in the 2nd round. Same with RB and keep in mind NE never seem to have a top RB that carries the load. They always use multiple guys back there so I'd expect us to do the same.

For me I am drafting 2ot and a center and maybe a guard with the next 4 picks after the qb, so tired of crappy ol play, use our $ on free agent defense players

Burrow and Tua are the best 2 QBs in the draft. I would take either. But we need OL after that.

Don't hold your breath on us drafting o-line with 4 picks in a row. I can see us getting two o-line guys in free agency and then drafting one in the first or 2nd round tho.

There's a reason it's called Overreaction Monday

I never understand the attraction of assigning silly amount of weight to the most recent outcome, other than it's what fans crave right now. After all, you won't exactly draw a huge twitter following if you start posting stuff like...stay the course, nothing changed yesterday.

Joe Burrow is still at 11.6 YPA. I don't think it can sustain but as I posted a few weeks ago if he somehow maintained that level it is going to equate to high first round.

Most of all I still have to laugh every time I remember that Urban Meyer sat Burrow for 2 seasons behind JT Barrett, the guy who managed less than 4 YPA in 3 consecutive games at Ohio State and had two consecutive seasons at 6.7 YPA. Neither one of those stats should be possible in a Meyer offense. There is nothing comparable anywhere he's been. Those Buckeye receivers recovered some of their rightful form and numbers under Haskins but not nearly to full level. McLaurin was still undervalued compared to several collegiate seasons under competent quarterbacking.

Burrow might not have been ready at that point. JT Barrett was never going to be ready. I guarantee Meyer thinks about it even if he won't concede publicly. Those were some incredibly talented Buckeye teams that were restrained under Barrett.

I know we won’t, but if we draft Tua we need a good oline in front of him

Ok.

He's getting talked about because he's tall and had a good arm. He's Herbert with better WRs. Don't want anything to do with a one year wonder. Give me the kid whose been good sinceI’v

easily the worst QB eval I’ve ever read. Do some homework and comeback later.

im not high on burrow the same way some people are either, but burrow has been successful forever as well. He was Mr. Ohio in high school.

I see your point, but not totally valid. He’s been a dog forever.
