Interesting note: Ross one of two owners to vote "No" on Rams relocation to L.A.

Shady dealings going on for certain. St. Louis was the city most prepared to stay rather than relocate - they had a stadium plan in place - and the owners only moved them. Kroenke is the most hated man in St. Louis right now.

Chargers can tag along with the Rams if they'd like but it's uncertain of their plans, as Dean Spanos was all in on the Carson stadium project, moving in with the Raiders.

Raiders are adrift at the moment - I believe they are getting kicked out of the Oakland Coliseum after next year as their rift with the city of Oakland has reached nearly un-bridgable gaps. I wouldn't be surprised if they attempted a move to San Antonio. The NFL has declared that St. Louis and San Diego are no longer viable NFL markets.

They would honestly do very well in San Antonio, imo. They support the Spurs huge and all of the major and minor college teams. It's a massive city that has a good economy and loves sports. Good fit for an NFL team. They already wear a lot of black and silver so that would fit as well.

I detest the US franchise system, must be horrible to see your team move away, trust me being nowhere near your team can be a pain in the ass.

If anything needs to change its the Jags out of Florida. St Louis is the favorite team in a region while the jags aren't even the second favorite team in their state. They are probably holding out for London though.

Just emphasizes the disgusting nature of the NFL. so let me get this straight the NFL is allowing the Rams to move back to LA lol. LA a city that has lost multiple teams will now have two lol. Another reason why I am becoming less and less of a football fan. The NFL needs to start paying more than their fair share for these stadiums but there is always some stupid city willing to put the burden on thier taxpayers who mostly wont feel any positive impact.

That's weird. Vote was by secret ballot.

First vote was 20 votes for Rams Inglewood vs 12 votes Chargers/Raiders Carson. 24 votes needed for approval.

The last vote was 30 to 2 with the Rams plan winning. So according to this Ross and the Panthers owner voted against. I figured it would be the Raiders and Chargers. Why would the Raiders and Chargers vote against their own plan?

i agree i think the NFL should chip in on stadium funds as well....with all of the revenue coming in , it wouldn't be hard to structure a deal that works for everyone...

F the Rams and F Kroenke. Good on Ross to vote against those bastages. The Raiders and Chargers should be the teams moving to LA IMHO, not the backstabbing arrogant rich guy Stan Kroenke.

I have no problems with the Rams going back to LA. They never should have moved in the first place. However, I think the Chargers need to stay in San Diego. San Diego loves and supports their Chargers and even the talk of the moving is disgraceful.

The reason I'm a dolphins fan is bc STL didn't have a team when I was growing up. We got season tickets and I went to about 1/2 the home games a year. The rest of the family went the others. I went to the first few at busch and the last game this year bc we knew it was over. The guys that had sit by us for 21 years and I all exchanged text messages last night, it was sad. The rams had training camp in my hometown for 6 or 7 years. It's like your gf breaking up with you when you don't want it. The positive is that it is only my backup gf breaking up with me since I have my #1 in the Dolphins.

Bottom line is, you dont go to the games and as a city you dont want to fund updates/renovations and new stadiums and owners are going to find places that will.

There's a certain amount of prestige to having a pro sports team and for the 32 cities that house NFL teams there is even more to gain, and the "common man" might not even recieve financial benefit by said team, but there's a ton of money flowing when these teams are doing well

off topic but LeBron James going back to Cleveland raised the income of that city and surrounding areas 500 Million dollars, his first year back.

loves London.. hates on LA.. kinduva dick

London means more money, and I would be willing to bet that his "london" game was more profitable that any of the other 7 home games at Sun Life, probably combined
