I think there's plenty of evidence available to suggest that Miami is but an average team overall, and has greater difficulty against better teams than against worse teams.

Every team is better against worse teams than good teams. There are only a few games that haven't been close, NO, NYJ, and the 2nd Buff. 2 of those teams are mediocre at best and NO might miss the playoffs too. Miami beat 3 division leaders/winners this year. What does that say?

everyone is the blame. Sherman doesn't change things up which pisses me off. he abandons the run to often. and that damn cadence. high school players would pick up on it. sometimes I think Sherman goes full retard, and we all know you should never go full retard. the d gives up plays to but it is mostly due to them being on the field the entire game. I think we need a new mind in charge of the offense. look at Carolina, they were going through the same thing, but now have shula who adapted to the teams strengths and ran with it. I just think we need a little change. hell roll ryan out every once in awhile

Offensive line and Sherman. End of story. We have other weaknesses, but our other weaknesses are like the other top-4 teams weaknesses...we wish they were better, but we could survive with them. We cannot survive with Sherman running on 3rd and short out of the shotgun, and TE screens 3 yards behind the line on 4th and 5(thank you Charles Clay). And we can't be giving up 3/4/5/6 sacks a game and have needle-sized holes to run through, and thats on the oline.

From what I've seen when we have played against the better defenses Sherman at some point either went pass-happy (full-retard from above post lol) of his own accord or went pass-happy because of being so far down which lead to our OL not being able to handle the pass rush. Our OL just plain sucks and until the pass blocking is fixed there is no way you can justify not running the ball and relying totally on the pass to win ball games. Even if you only gain a yard at a time, at least you don't expose a weakness. If you expected to go to Buffalo and win while only running the ball 3 (yes three) times in the 2nd half with this offense then yes that is full-retard behavior. The real coaches in this league adjust their system to fit their personnel. Ours do not for whatever reason, and it has cost us some wins this year.
