Interesting Poll on the Home Page

I'm interested in both and what Dan has to say, but after last year's season I can't wait to see what this year's team is going to look like on the field.
 
I'm excited and going to watch the induction, but I know pretty much how that's going to go. He's in. He'll make a speech. It'll be more special to me than any previous induction, but it'll be pretty much par for the course.

As far as the game goes, I'm anticipating it much more than the induction, because I haven't seen Saban's work yet. I'm very excited about the upcoming season, and I'm looking forward to seeing the players in action for the first time this season.
 
50/50 right now, definately more excited about marino, he is the reason why many of us are even fans of the team right now, and he is/was the heart of the team and always took the high road on anything concerning the team.

As for Saban's first game, I don't really count preseason, and I would have to imagine that this first "game" will be bland playbook wise, and after the first or second series, we won't even see any starters, so that is a joykill right there. now, if this poll is about the first game of the season...
 
To me i cant wait for Marino's Hall of Fame induction, i got the VCR on timer and i cant wait for it! Ive been looking forward this for a long time, so i voted Marino Hall of Fame induction...
 
The game and Saban. HOF is nice and all, but at the end of the day its just a speech from a retired player.
 
I would say the game. While I am really excited to see Marino get inducted into the HOF, nothing beats a football game, even if it is just preseason.
 
I also voted for the game. I almost felt guilty doing it too. I can't wait to see Dan go in.

But this is a new era in Dolphins football. Doesn't matter if it's a preseason game to me. We'll be getting our first look at a lot of things. Plus, IT'S OFFICIALLY FOOTBALL SEASON!! :woot:
 
H of F, Saban is just starting his career in Miami, but Marino gave us 17 yrs of blood,sweat and tears for our Dolphins.So for me it was no contest.

I'm really excited about any Miami game, but since it is pre-season, and this is the once in a lifetime thing for Marino, I picked Marino going into the hall.

I've never been much for a single player. I put the logo way before any player, including Marino. But there is no denying that Marino was a special player.

If this was the first game of the season, there would be only one choice, but it's not.

Oh, and I've seen the team all last week, so maybe that influenced me a bit.

:yeahthat: Exactly how I feel; if this was regular season...then I probably would have voted for the game. Still can't wait for the game!
 
I wasn't able to get tickets, which sucked. So for me it's got to be the induction itself, because thats what i tried so hard to get tickets to but weren't able to. :(
 
For me, it's the game, we all knew that Dan was getting into the hall 5 years ago. It was just a matter of him retiring.

I think the unknown of how a Saban run NFL team will do is more exciting to me.
