Interesting Read On Jets Run Defense

We had one of the best Run D's in the NFL until a few weeks ago, if that returns you won't run on us just like you didn't in week 1 but if we play like we have the past few weeks then you will.
 
Don't expect thee Jets to play soft come week 17.

Stories like those can be dangerous to put your stock into. Don't believe the hype.

I hope you don't go into this game thinking that you are playing the same Dolphins that the jets played the first week of the season. Altho the jets beat us you must admitt there was alot of luck in that game for the Jets. And our secondary was really stinking the first few weeks of the season they don't stink anymore.

There was alot of luck and most of it went Miami's way thanks to our K getting hurt. Both teams are alot better tha they played that day, unfortunately we have bee regressing the last few weeks.

That 4th down play isn't needed if our K is healthy and you wouldn't have had the benefit of the good FP and your D wouldn't have had the luxury of knowing we couldn't kick.
 
Every game is different this time of year. It doesn't matter what happened back in week one.

If your team had a FG kicker, it might have been a different game, and at the very least, you don't go for it on 4th down, but instead go for a FG (4 point difference), and it might have been close enough at the end that Chad doesn't have to try to get a td, but instead work for a FG, takes less chances, and no INT this time at the end.

We do not know what would have happened, what we do know is that the Dolphins are nowhere near the team the Jets played in week 1, but I also don't expect a Jets team that almost lost a 3rd game in a row last week....the jets will be ready, but trust me, once the Dolphins get past the KC game, they will be foaming at the mouth ready for a 2nd chance at making Chad's home coming a very pleasant one.

AGAIN, if our K is healthy he maes that intitial chip shot he misses and we go up 10-0. The game changes at 10-0 as we still have momentum instead of blowing it w/ the msised kick BUT assuming everything else plays the same we then kickt he FG on that 4th down play and go up 13-7- THE EXACT SAME SCORE AFTER WE SCORED THE TD. Nothing changes but what would have changed is your defensive strategy if we had a K and offensively you would have had FP as good.
 
If the Jets play the same way they've played over the past 3 weeks we will beat them. In fact I think Seattle will as well as the Jets have proved they really struggle going accross country. With that being said, if the jets play the way they did vs NE I think we could be in big trouble. Favre loves the empty backfield stuff that we can't stop. Should be interesting, but first I want to beat KC. In fact I'd like to see Miami and the Jets win to eliminate the Patriots from division title contention.

:) A lot of assuming there, don't you think? Like it or not, the game takes a totally different swing.

Miami played the Jets a different way because they knew your team could not convert long FGs, if your team does not lose your FG kicker, Miami plays more agressive, and blitzes more. Totally different game, niether one of us can say for sure what would have happened.
 
I'm sorry i cannot read this..., what is it you are trying to say...?

The refs will win it for the Jets. I am fully counting on us getting a rediculous call against us on a big play that enables the Jets to pull it out. It never fails. Its all about money and ratings. The fix is in.
