According to an article I just read, the Dolphins allowed 0 points off of Offensive Turnovers last year. The only other teams to do that were the Steelers and Ravens. Pretty impressive.

That, in and of itself, is an impressive stat...it speaks volumes for the defense and the momentum advantage that can take place after a turnover and allowing points...but stats are really misleading at times when you factor in other intangibles like win/loss...the score and time left...field position and so forth...but it is a nice stat....

How about a link to that article?

The article is wrong by the way. In the first game of last season against NE, the defense gave up 10 points off of three offensive turnovers in the first half.

Bleacher report comes to mind...

I think it might be referring to us not allowing a defensive td. That's the only thing I could think of anyway

No points off turnovers for the entire season makes no sense. That would be impossible. This has to be talking about allowing defensive TDs, e.g. pick 6's or fumble recoveries for TD.

Yes, in the 2nd qtr, a pass intended for Wallace was intercepted by Dennard. Gronk scored on a pass from Brady several plays later.

i dont see this as true... in any way

even for pitt

is this just stating no team scored a TD right away off of an INT or fumble recovery??? this makes no sense otherwise...

I think your right, I believe this is what they must have meant.

Speaking of interesting stats, the Miami Dolphins have the highest average annual salary of any NFL team at around $2.3 million....the soccer club Paris St. Germaine has the highest average salary for any sports team at $9.1 million per player. That's crazy...the Phins are 124th on the list of sport's teams.

Football teams have 53 man rosters, no other sport is close to that .. That's the reason no nfl team would rank that high

That's with 28 less players to pay.
They get great attendance ,, play more games, and globally have more interest.
