Miami Dolphins rushing statistics as of week 6:

145 attempts (16)
641 yards (15)
4.4 ypc (13)
106.8 ypg (16)
1 TD (3 way tie for rank 30)

Grant and Wilson have the most TDs (4 each) on the team.
Albert Wilson leads the receivers with 32 targets, 23 catches, 359 yards, and 15.6 ypc, 59.8 ypg.

The Dolphins have only scored 6 times inside the red zone.

Dolphins third down conversion rate of 34.7%
Opponent third down conversion rate: 48% (NFL rank 30th)

Dolphins ranked #1 in the NFL with 11 INTs.
Dolphins tied for #22 with 11 sacks.

Matt Haack is ranked #5 with 14 punts inside the 20.
Jakeem Grant is ranked #1 with 332 kickoff return yards.

It's strange that a large percentage of our scoring are on long plays beyond the red zone. It skews the red zone stats and rushing TD stats.

Well I wouldn't say that the low rushing TD stats are skewed. Adam Gase has gotten away from what he did in 2016 where he had 14 rushing TDs. In 2017, the Dolphins only had 4 and this year so far, only 1.

Nothing could be better than these stats:

28 Jarvis Landry, WR CLE 31 66 392 12.6 1 39 6 65.3 0 147 16
33 Albert Wilson, WR MIA 23 32 359 15.6 4 75 6 59.8 0 196 10

Landry has a career low catch % of 47%. Good luck getting to 100 catches that way.

I wonder how long it will take for Landry to turn on the rookie. Since Mayfield has been starting the last three games, Landry has 11 catches (on 29 targets) for 114 yards.

Red zone defense has carried us thru 6 games.

Particularly our ability to force turnovers in it.

Run away lead reason why we are 4 and 2

That "bend, don't break" D bends a bit too much for me to take sometimes. Can't they just get a turnover around the 35 yard line and keep some of the anxiety out of it?

They are built perfectly for pass defense, in a packed in area, like the end zone.

They are fairly fast, as a team, and can throw out 3 legit, jack you up safeties.

TH has always been trash on 3rd down. We were actually respectable on third down this past week for the first time in a long time. We had 8 first downs last Sunday, TH has never had 8 first downs in a game ever in his career.

RT is in fact horrible on third down thru his career. But everything else gets the blame.

He’s NOT the answer he’s just one of the problems. I seriously don’t think we beat the Bears if RT had started.

Tanny loves throwing short and landry feasted on that. Plus, tanny looked for him first, second lnd last on every play. Then landry leaves and throw's tanny some thick shade right out the gate. Some peoples kids huh? Now he has a qb in in cleveland who looks at everyone and spreads the ball around (a good thing, as osweiller showed) and momma is not there to hand feed him oreo's and sweetinin him up.

I was scared when we signed amendola as he is a posession type like tanny craves and thought oh no, we just gave tanny his one wr offense back. Looks like the staff has been doing what they can to keep him from doing it all over again as amendolla has been very pedestrian so far. We FINALLY have big time talent in this offense, guys who can break the bank at any time. I liked how osweiller fed the machine. Dont know what B/O is going to be to us this season but in one game his leadership and spreading the ball and pocket awareness where refreshing.

PSALM 37: 10-11

10. Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there.

11. But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
