This site is really cool. I dont know how precise it is but most of it seems reasonable..

Run at Marques Dougles all game long.. He is an undersized 3-4 DE. He is short.

Miami's awesome young and very talented DE's are 6'7, 6'6 and 6'4.. Douglas is 6'2 and old and battered. Plus he looks like a soft fruit.

Wear that mediocre DE out. Run him out of the game so they can put their even more crappy DE backups in there.

Miami's DE rotation is SOOO much better and stronger than the Jets DE rotation.. All Jets fans talk about is Jenkins, but their DE's are not that good. That's why Jets fans are all crying for a DE in the first round of next year's draft on their message boards... Look at their message boards, they all want DE's, because they know it's a weakness to their D.

Their weakness is one of our biggest strengths.

Grove will handle Jenkins like Grove handled him last year... After we run Douglas's way over and over, beating him up to a pulp, with Ellis getting tired having to run over there every play, then run at Ellis's huffing and puffing tired sorry a$$.

They'll all be worn out somewhere around the 3rd quarter.. And their backups suck.. They don't have a great D-line rotation like we do.. They have no depth.. We have Merling, Starks, Soliai, Ferguson, McDaniel and Langford, Dotson on the D-line.. The jets don't have close to that overall talent and depth on the D-line.

The Colts had more depth on the D-line than the Jets do. The Colts added a couple 300 pounders at DT this off season, plus the other guys they had. They have depth, that's why their run defense has only given up 64 yards per game in their other 3 games (good enough for top 5 in the league).. Against us - 240 yards rushing.

When the Jets start bringing in their sucky D-line backups, with their starters willing to kill for a breather on the sideline sucking the oxygen masks, that's when we really maul that overrated defense of theirs.

Just watch.

And oh yeah, do you think Pace will be in shape for the kind of game we are going to throw at them ?? I think not.. He'll be alongside Jenkins and Douglas sucking air on the sideline somewhere in the 3rd quarter

:rimshot:

Interesting quick takes. Which website is this from? I did not see a link :)

yeah that site is interesting... one thing of note for everyone who goes there, do not look at the overall because its not a good barometer... narrow out down to the specifics to get a better analysis

one thing i thought was interesting was Paul Soliai was actually playing better against the run than Jason Ferguson, though im not too surprised, Soliai has been playing great when hes been in there

another thing of note, they haven't processed the Phins bills game yet, so those stats/rankings aren't in the overalls yet, and you know that'll only boost up dolphins related numbers

Spot on ... the rankings we've done for the Dolphins so far have been for games they've lost ... the Bills game should be up within a couple of days (by tomorrow I imagine)

I've done PP for two Jets game so spent about 11 hours watching them ... I will say they aren't quite as unpredictable as their defence would make out, with game tape lending itself to predicting what type of defence they are going to use and when they'll use it (you can almost sense when and where they'll bring the blitz from at times).

I've been extremely disappointed with the right side of their line in the games I saw. They were the best in the league last year and this year not so hot - as for Sanchez, clutch but inconsistent. Better than he should be, but not the player people have made him out to be. I certainly wouldn't look at him on the level of Ryan/ Flacco in anything other than his leadership skills.

I'm still amazed teams are throwing at Darrelle Revis. He's pretty shutdown (he's no Corey Webster mind) but teams keep thinking there are throws to be made on him. I'd consider just ignoring his side of the field, but if you keep going after him he gets in a rhythm of sorts ... got to try and catch him cold almost ... make him not expect the throw.

I'm really looking forward to this game. May ask to do it for PP to really get into it, and I don't see why Miami can't win.

Arsenal ... are you by any chance an Arsenal fan? Boo if so!

But you make a good point about breaking down the barometers - especially at this early stage of the season, I'd advise everyone to do that.

no not a soccer fan here, haha my name has nothing to do with that...

but as for RBs, when you look at just Rushing... Ronnie is 3rd in the league, Ricky 14th, and even Cobbs is there at 24th... ahead of any Jet... Leon at 70, Thomas Jones at 98, ouch... also Ronnie has the 2nd most missed tackles against (either avoided or broken) and again thats not even counting last game, so hes probably number 1 right now...

namdi asomagh or w/e is the best corner in the nfl still, he's only been thrown at 5 times this year!?! how is that even possible.

It was the same last year, he was thrown at 30 times throughout the season.

Teams are scared of him its that simple. But teams should be scared of Corey Webster and Darrelle Revis as well. Throwing in their direction is asking for trouble (people are starting to realise this with Webster, thrown at 9 times for just 3 receptions). I havent seen much of Champ recently but probablythrow his name into the mix and those are the shutdown corners in the NFL.
