In Ireland's (cant wait to see all the replies blaming parcells) 4 drafts, we have 1 Probowler and out of his 1st draft class he have exactly 1 player left...Jake long...

Kinda hard to miss with the 1st overall when you take the safe pick huh...
 
And he found Cam Wake, Davone Bess and Dan Carpenter. So is he a terrible drafter and great undrafted free agent/CFL scout?
 
Not sure how the hierarchy (sp) worked between Parcells and Ireland, but you can't take parcell's completely out of the equation. That is ludicrous!!!

I would be first in line to bash Ireland but we all have to admit none of us know what picks he really had with Parcells in the room. We can only judge him on last draft which was his only one that we can truly hang on him.
 
How many ProBowlers has Ozzie Newsome drafted in the past 4 years? And remember, last year was Ireland first draft with total control.

A broken clock is right twice a day.

He got an extra one right by stumbling over a decent kicker. Whoopee.

The man consistently drafts non-skill, non-impact players 1 round earlier than they should go (misi, odrick, jerry) and purposely, OBSESSIVELY IGNORES QB and tries to manipulate the draft (and other teams) so that he can fall between the cracks and not have to draft one. He is off burning candles somewhere hoping someone trades up and takes Tannehill ahead of us, and then he is set up to watch Weeden go to CLE in the bottom 1st, then he adds intercession for the cause of someone sneaking ahead of us in the 2nd for Osweiler. Then he figures he can get away with drafting all the linemen he wants because he can tell the fan base that there was no QB left. Or even worse, tries to sneak some guy in here in the 7th round and loudly proclaims "we... have... addressed... the... position".

When he does that I am well and truly DONE. Let 'em go to LA for all I care.

Not the point. You can either judge him by all the pro bowlers and plus players along with busts he has found however he found him, or you don't. Specifically if he is going to be judged on drafts he wasn't the decision maker for.

Goes to prove he is better served as a scout under the Man then being the actual Man

In Odrick's first full year he produced 6 sacks playing part-time. They draft Henne. They invested 3 years into him. Last draft was the first year he should have legitimately been looking for a QB.

This is jeffs first real draft. The other drafts had too many cooks for them to be proclaimed jeffs draft. Make no mistake parcels made those early picks. Sparano has no clue on talent. judge him by this years draft.
 
lol Peope still take the Pro Bowl seriously? I want a SuperBowl team not a Pro Bowl team. It is what it is...doesnt matter how you find the players, just find em.

Say what you want about Carpenter, but look around the league and you will see kickers are hard to find.

Not claiming Ireland is great by any means but who is soo much better? Find a QB and everyone looks better!!!!!!!!!!
