2. The level of respect Ryan Tannehill has in the Dolphins locker room is 2nd only to Pennington during my tenure. His teammates believe.

And I'm not talking about that fake belief they gave Chad Henne, which was total BS. Tannehill now acts like a BOSS.

As most of us know, Omar isn't exactly shy in criticizing Ryan Tannehill so for him to say this says something.

He's shown it a few times on the field (the leadership), but to hear about how he is viewed by the players does mean something.

I am scared because many of my takes on the coaching staff have matched Omar's opinions. I do not like that. Hurts.

If Omar is actually depicting Tannehill in a positive light, Hell must have frozen over. But it's understandable. Unlike the diva in DC, he never throws anyone under the bus, sulk on the sideline like you know who, he takes big hits and bounces right up to redeem himself more often than not, like after how he got clobbered when TroyP jumped the route and has shown marked improvement going forward. What's not to like or respect?

We all know how critical Omar is on QBs and he loved Pennington so, for him to say this about Tannehill, speaks volumes.

True, comin back from that Troy Palomalu pick-6 was huge. At Pittsburgh, crowd-roaring. Snow. That's a pretty hostile environment. Tannehill showed some real grit.

It may be Omar, but I LOVE reading stuff like that about my QB. GREAT to hear that.

There's a lotta fight in that there dog!

Tannehill needs to keep working on not throwing ill-advised passes and when to take off and run when openings are there for big yardage.

lol. I've been reading his stuff for months, and pointing out the little things he says that most of us would agree with. the typical respons is... I don't care, omar said it. Shrug.

Sounds like a franchise qb.

As usual omar is late to the party.

Not true Daytona, he was saying some flattering stuff back in week 2.

The Steelers Stadium was hardly full yesterday and was not as loud as they have been when it was full. Nevertheless, Tannehill stayed the course yesterday and played a solid game in the elements.

Which should be the reaction. I shrug at this, too. Not saying it isn't true -- performance breeds respect and Tannehill's performance under the circumstances has been very good, so Omar's report has the veritable stink of truth -- just that it doesn't mean anything.

That is a shocker. Maybe Omar tried to talk dirty about Tannehill to one of his teammates and was set straight. I like that story better.
