That has to be one of the worst officiated bowl games that I have ever seen.

The bogus offsides call on the onside kick was only the tip of the iceberg.
 
I agree they were all against Iowa from the get go.:yell:
 
Oh man, us Iowans are pissed off. I was yelling at the screen due to the... "facemasking", "helmet to helmet hit", and of course, the "offsides" penalty on our beloved Special Teams after a beautiful onside kick!! Just terrible, even the announcers said that many times.
 
Yes, Iowa got the majority of the bad calls especially the onsides kick at the end. But to say they lost or got "robbed" because of the refs is TOTAL BS. Even if they got the ball, theres no way of knowing that they would have scored. They played terrible in the first half and Florida played well, end of story. Get over it.

Im totaly biased for the SEC to win their bowl games and even I, in good conscience, can't say that the bad calls were anywhere close to being even on both sides.

Your looking at the game through Blue and Orange colored glasses.

The Hawkeye Boards are going crazy.

Don't forget the terrible spot in the third quarter on third and short, when the refs gave Leak an extra yard and a half.

What, you think I as a Gator fan, like that they won that way? Get real. Truth is there were plenty of bad calls, some against Florida, and yes more against Iowa. But there is no way to say that those calls cost anyone the game and all the crying and complaining in the world isn't gonna change the outcome.

Dude on Iowa's last drive they gave them three different spots where they gave them an extra yard each time.

Officiating was horrible for both sides. I was at a bar and the tv was a ways away, but it did look like the dude's helmet was over the line on the offsides.

I could go on and on. Officiating sucked. Plain and simple. UF got the win.

I saw bits and pieces of te game. What conference were the officials from?

Was it as bad as it was in the Nebraska/Michigan game? Those refs were pathetic!!!
